Works perfect on my 65 C10 and TH400. Needs a couple small S bends, which is to be expected.

Got the kit, looks OK at first glance. I went to mount the trans shaft lever portion and dug out the bushing style nuts and guess what….. They include 2 different thread pitch nuts and the one I needed wasn’t threaded at all!
This only happens to me…. I swear…. But, I have a huge 1960’s tap and die set, maybe 150+ of taps and at least that in dies…. Wouldn’t you know it, no metric tap that fit my 4L80e shift linkage. So, off to the hardware store to get a $15 tap to fix this product that shouldn’t have made it through quality control. Sure I could have returned it, but I wasn’t willing to wait for another one…. I needed it THAT day.
These are anodized to look like grade 8, yeah…. I doubt that very much after running the tap through that nut. It went through with ease like it was mild grade or grade 5. One of these days I’ll buy a hardness tester set to debunk all these cheap items. It’s attached to an aluminum arm, so not real sure why the rest would need to be grade 8 anyway. Grade 5 would still well out perform the aluminum LOL

Great product for custom shift linkages, ive used this kit for classic restorations using 4l60’s, 4l80’s works great virtually identical to the lokar unit for much less. The grub screws for the slip on rod adjuster will strip of you get carried away with them but otherwise great product.
