I recently tried Zenex Cherry Rush Car Soap, and I’m really impressed. This stuff is no joke – it’s seriously powerful. The super-concentrated formula means you don’t need to use a lot, so even though it comes in a gallon jug, it’ll last me a good while.
The thick foam it produces is fantastic. It creates rich, thick suds that make washing the car so much easier. I’ve used it on everything from road grime to bird droppings, and it all comes off without a hitch. Plus, the foam helps prevent any scratches or swirl marks.
One of my favorite things about this soap is the cherry scent. It makes the whole washing process feel a bit more enjoyable, and it’s a nice break from the usual harsh chemical smells.
Overall, Zenex Cherry Rush Car Soap delivers on its promises. It’s effective, smells great, and is definitely worth the price for the amount you get. I’ll definitely be sticking with this for all my vehicle washing needs.

This car soap works and does a good job of cleaning, but the smell is stronger than it needs to be.
It is concentrated and a small amount goes a long way with a bucket of water. It cleans well and did not leave any streaks on the car.
But the smell is a problem. Eventually, it goes away, but is difficult to put up with at first.

This car wash by Zenex is fairly concentrated…1 part product to 120 parts water. While not exact, one once of this soap will make just shy of one gallon (128 ounces) of mixed car wash soap. I typically fill my five gallon wash bucket with 3.5-4 gallons of water, so figure 3-4 ounces per bucket. That makes this fairly economical to use.
This car wash cleans well and also rinses off cleanly. I don’t like my car wash to contain waxes or sealants and this doesn’t.
I’m not a fan of artificially scented products, but at least the cherry scent of this isn’t overpowering.

When I use this, it smells just like a professional car wash. The cherry scent is nice. But most importantly, compared to lesser soaps or car wash solutions, a little of this goes a long way. It is highly concentrated. Even better, it creates tons of suds which is what you want when washing your car. It will keep dirt and grime suspended so it does not resettle on your car. It is also powerful and will cut through road grime, dirt, bird poop and other stuff that gets on your car. And since you get a gallon, it will last a long, long time being super concentrated.

This car soap performs excellently, producing thick, slick foam that helps prevent scratching. It works great in a foam cannon and leaves a pleasant (but strong) cherry scent. It’s effective at removing dirt and grime, making it a great addition to any car care routine.

The Zenex Cherry Rush Car Soap is a great value for the price and super concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It cleans well and rinses easily without leaving scratches. However, the cherry scent just isn’t for me, which is the only downside. If you like the scent, it’s a solid choice!

If you want your vehicle (or whatever else you wash with this stuff) to smell like a clean urinal, look no further. This is the same fake cherry scent and smells like it also includes some of the same other chemicals, too. (Probably surfactants)
The detergent is strong. It works for the intended purpose: mixed easily, suds like mad, and all that. This stuff works well for its labeled purposes.
But:
The stuff gives me a headache without needing direct contact. I don’t think that’s the scent, itself, but it might be. It got worse when some diluted solution got on me.
You do not want to touch this stuff. It’s got a prop95 carcinogen warning and it’s very bad for the skin.
A touchless wash system of some sort is really the only place I’d recommend using this; I’m convinced a pressure washer would work well, though I’ve not tested that, as yet. Certainly do not use it in kitchens and bathrooms or somewhere animals eat or drink.
An aside that didn’t affect the score:
The box the manufacturer sent it in was a study corrugated cardboard that was well sized. Amazon saw fit to put that in a box literally 5 or so times the volume and used a small sheet of brown paper as dunnage. This meant that the inner box had freedom to rotate in almost any direction. The bottle cracked and leaked a little in transit. That’s particularly bad with the warnings this stuff has. Even before I opened that inner box, it was giving me headaches.)
I’m not a big fan but this will get lipids into solution and off of things, aggressively. If you need that, this will work. I think I’ll lean towards one of the other choices, personally.
If this doesn’t give you a headache, which might be an allergy, it’s probably worth an extra star to you.
