I was a little bit worried about ordering this rear wiper motor for my 01 Jeep Cherokee sport is seeing as how there wasn’t that many reviews on it. I’m glad to say that so far it seems to be working perfectly. It went on without any problems, the only issue I had was the plug was a little snug when I connected it. Not that big of a deal, and doesn’t affect the operation of this pump
If you’re debating on ordering it, I’d say go for it.

Broke after a week. Weak crappy motor

Installed about a week ago to replace a seized wiper motor on my 00 XJ. Fit as expected. You’ll need to reuse the mounting bolts and the rubber washers from your existing motor. Since I’ve only used for a month I can’t attest to the long term reliability, bit I will update this review for sure if it fails early or without reason. If my wife or kid starts the rear wiper this winter while it’s frozen to the window that’s a different issue:)

I installed the first wiper motor and it failed after a half stroke of the wiper. Tested the fuses, switch and Cherokee wire harness, all were good. Returned the motor to Amazon and they sent me a second motor. I installed it and to my surprise it made one complete cycle then quit. Once again I tested the fuses, the switch and the wire harness and isolated the failure to the new wiper motor. I’m returning the second motor now and won’t be buying another from this company. I spent a lot of my time to trouble shoot and identify the problem and am 100% sure the electronics in these two new motors failed.
