J’ai choisi ce modèle parce qu’il y avait sur la photo une visse et un boulon sur l’axe du couteau…
et c’est un rivet, j ai payé plus cher pour éviter d’avoir un rivet vu que ces couteaux seront appelé a être sollicités souvent….Je ne suis pas content

Just finished installing a second cut-off blade switch to my 5th wheel RV. I have a cut-off for each battery and can select which battery I want to use. The setup allows to use one or both at the same time. I added a charger/maintainer too. This setup allows me to easily disconnect one or both batteries when in storage. Also allows me to disconnect a bad battery allowing the good one to continue.

I had to search through a fair number of Knife Blade Switch ads on Amazon (and elsewhere) because I needed one that had 3/8″ screw on posts – most ads were for other battery post types. And I needed a top mount switch. This one was a bit more $$ than some others, but it is exactly what I needed. Now I won’t have any dead starter batteries on my RV when I pull it out of storage. The installation was easy once I figured out how I was going to attack the job. Cool.

It works great but you have to tighten the screws that hold the jackknife posts to the lugs.. I have 2 of these and all 4 posts were loose.

Nice unit and very solid. It would be better if it had two mounting holes for screws to secure better.

The Amazon photo showed the blade attached with a bolt. It came with a riveted blade, which will get loose over time. I paid more for this one because of the bolted blade. Also both terminals were threaded, making it unable to be attached to a battery. I had to return it.
