I had a break line failure and needed a quality solution. This kit came highly recommended and got the job done. After a few quick videos on youtube, it was game on. The tools worked great, and line was easy to bend. I picked up a small bender from Klein tools to aid in the install. The kit is great to have on hand.

This is by far the least expensive kit I’ve used and it’s been over a decade since the last brake lines I’ve done. I cut off two inches to practice a bit and the kit was so easy to use I knocked out a pair of double flares without prep and they were both better than I remember any of mine being before.

The quality of the kit was OK. It definitely would have stopped a leak had I had the right fitting however I did not. The size of the line was perfect and would’ve fit great but they didn’t have the right size fittings. The flare tool was not that easy to use but create joints that will not leak.

In a pinch possibly worth using but not on German engineering BMWS.

This kit worked very well once I figured out what I was doing. A couple YouTube videos and I was able to make perfect flares for the new brake line

Blew the steel brake line that goes from the master cylinder to the rear of my old Ford truck. The line is no longer available, so my only choice was to have one made or make one myself. The local Ford shop wanted $1500 to fabricate the line, which is more than the truck is worth.
It took me a total of 4 hours to do the entire job, including bleeding the brakes afterwards. This kit made perfect flares the fit just like the originals against the fittings on either end.

Line cutter is cheap and very dull. But the flaring tools work properly.
