It was perfect for my 66 Mustang’s wiper replacement

Memory metal skeleton position… but no metal. Inaccurate description, not worth the money.

The rubber is quality and not chintzy or stiff. As a non-motorhead, I found that the strips were easier to install than I assumed. This is because I forgot that rubber is inherently very flexible so it was easy to slot in. I’m so glad I discovered this product because I always felt environmentally unfriendly buying entire wiper blades at brick-and-mortar stores when the rubber part was all I really needed.

Works OK. My existing blades have two steel strips on either side of the rubber to hold the wiper in shape. Steel strips must be in place to slide the rubber and strips into position. Keeping all of these together while sliding them through the tiny grips is tedious. But for the savings it’s OK.
After installing two I can do it quicker the next time.
I thought about using silicone to lube things, but never tried it. It would also make things harder to grip.
Years ago you could buy the steel/rubber set for about $1. Not near enough profit today. Most places only carry the blade holder assembly, $8-15 each. YUK.
For a better design one end should have a keeper slot to match the steel strip slots at either end grip. This change would secure the blade from moving and leaving the grips.

If you’re looking to replace this on your car, do yourself a favor and measure them out first. I removed my entire blade and old rubber only to realize this is only 23” and now it doesn’t fit my blade and will be coming loose at each end.

Works great!
Butch’s Collection –
Was very simple to cut to exact size and slide into place for wiper blades. Works great.

I like the OE wipers, so refilling them is a must. These refills fit with a 1″ trim to 15″. They don’t last as long as the OE inserts, but are a terrific value.

I had to manipulate the arms of both vehicles I used these on but once installed they work better than any blades I’ve had in the past.

Good job
