The sensor was apparently a Calif. Emissions sensor because I got the part by vehicle make n model specific ordering but my RAV4 ran poorly without being read as a bad sensor. It did make my car run rich and caused backfires and stalling when accelerating from a stop. I recently got the right Denso sensor at an auto garage. I used my VIN number to find the true vehicle specific part and the sensor that came up as the right fit for a Federal Emissions instead of Calif. Enlmissions. It makes a pretty big difference. So for now on I’m going to only go by my vileholicles VIN number to order parts for my Rav Ride.
