Unfortunately, this was not my problem with my truck, the oil pressure sensor failed, once it detects oil pressure on startup it then sends power to the starter relay

Identical to the GM fan relays that run the electric fans on a c4 corvette and works flawlessly doing so.
I havent had any problems with cooling fans failing to function correctly since installing.
