Best thing to prevent rust on the undercarriage

I had woolwax undercoating professionally applied over a year ago and I purchased this product to touch up the initial coating I had done previously. The aerosol cans are perfect for spraying and touching up certain areas. I ended up having enough with the cans that came with the purchase to apply an entire 2nd coat altogether over the original coat of woolwax that was done last year. I have a Toyota Tacoma so if you have a larger truck you would probably need more than 3 cans especially if there was no undercoating applied to begin with and everything was bare steel from factory.

Woolwax itself is amazing, I’ve used CRC and PB Blaster, Woolwax is my favorite hands down. The 24″ extension tube is junk though, idk if mine came broken or broke literally just putting it on the can, but it resulted in leaking half the can of Woolwax. Still worked and I was able to get in the frame, but pretty disappointing. Giving it 3/5 stars since most people probably buy this bundle for the extension sprayer and it really seems like junk.

i drive on the beach & in salt water , this stuff protects your car & if you have rust !!! this will stop it from going any futher !!!

Its very thick and opaque, but the cans run out very quickly so if you are doing a big car/truck you WILL NOT have enough. I suggest you jack up the car very high, its best to shoot from a distance

Seems a bit pricey. I used it to touch up some spots on my frame where I was a bit impatient lifting my truck and rubbed off the frame coating.
It did seem to cover and adhere well. I’ll follow up in 6-9 months after rain and winter to see if it holds up to the elements at all or just washes away.

I bought a used 2008 Dodge truck with light rusting on the frame. Bought the 6 pack and used it all plus 3 cans of clear. Worked great and easy to apply! It is a heavy oil/wax that you spray on and in the holes in fall to protect in the winter. It doesn’t smell and it is a great product!

i get my truck krown rustproofed every year. it is more thin then the woolwax so it creeps well into the tight spots. downside is as winter goes on the thinner krown gets removed from the exposed areas under the truck with snow, salt, water. so i spray the exposed areas with this much thicker woolwax. the whole exterior frame, cab, box, suspension, differentials and this stuff stays on through the entire winter. it is great stuff and works awesome. i will buy again

I thought the tube included would be difficult to use or useless, but it’s great. Allows you to get into nooks and crannies while keeping the can upright so it dispenses with good flow.
Easy to use, great value. I apply before each winter. I live in Vermont and this has kept my car rust-free.

This is great stuff much better than the other lanolin based rust inhibitor,that stinks. This stuff has little to no smell.
I annually go over my truck and give cab corners and door bottles a good coat as well as the rockers. I’ve already had the cab corners replaced and some welded patches on the rockers. A full rocker job on my truck is at least $3000 so this stuff is well worth the effort and price. I also give the bed rails a good coat inside and outside.
