I’m absolutely thrilled with the Woolwax 12 Spray Can Undercoating Kit! As someone who doesn’t have a compressor, I was looking for an easy, effective way to protect my vehicle from rust and corrosion—this kit is exactly what I needed. The aerosol can is super convenient, and the included conversion trigger turned it into a spray gun with ease. I especially love the 24″ extension wand with a 360° nozzle—it allowed me to get into all the tight spots like inside the doors and other hard-to-reach areas.
What really sets Woolwax apart from other undercoating products is its thickness and long-lasting protection. It’s formulated with more woolgrease, making it much more resistant to wash-off compared to competitors. I feel confident that this undercoating will stand up to the elements, and since it doesn’t dry, it keeps protecting the hard-to-reach places, like seams and folds of sheet metal, all year round. I applied it in no time, and it’s already made a huge difference.
If you’re looking for a reliable way to protect your vehicle or outdoor equipment from rust, especially if you’re in an area that gets snow and salt, this product is definitely worth every penny. I’ll be using it annually to keep everything in top shape!

It applied easy. Tip popped off occasionally. Easy to put back on. I have the spray gun too but this was just as easy. Worked good on my car. I didn’t put as much on as with the air compressor spray gun. Not as wide of coverage but it is good

Wool Wax is a great product that does what it says
It has protected the frame and chassis and underbody of my trucks for years. I live New England. The state here spread a salt brine pre snowstorm that when it gets on steel sticks like glue and is activated by more moisture
Wool wax prevents the sticking and the corrosion
Skip the worthless spray accessories though. And just spray the can.
6 cans did my entire underbody frame and chassis.

Previously for the last few years I’ve used Fluid Film. Wool Wax is something else. It goes on thicker and less susceptible to wash off. I’ve used it on a Outback, Sequoia, and Tundra. The Toyota’s took at about 10 cans each. The Subaru took about 6-7 cans. I got it everywhere underneath and am very pleased.
Couldn’t have asked for a better product. Smell is noticeable, but not as strong FF. It’s been over a month now and smell is almost gone. If you live anywhere in the Rust Belt this would be a perfect annual maintenance item. Very pleased and going to use it every year going forward.

I’ve always been skeptical about the lanolin ready to use aerosol versus the pail that requires heating and/or thinning, but the woolwax provides more than a name but a quality product. If you’ve ever used white lithium aerosol spray lubricant, expect that consistency with slightly less drying. It penetrates crevices better than the thicker non-aerosol but is thinner so may require a 2nd application after a couple of weeks just to allow the 1st coating to stabilize. There are inferior products to woolwax with a much lower flash point, so beware of using non-woolwax products in your engine bay or around the exhaust. On a side note my shipment was received with the conversion sprayer and the extension nozzle crushed, not because of lack of packing, but because it was obviously dropped from quite a height. Kellsport has provided a replacement without having to hassle with fedex, which is a problem shipper in my area.
