Fit great and so far so good! Affordable and good quality, fit my F-150 no problem.
Customer –
Filter does not look like the picture and did not fit my 2015 2.7L EcoBoost, nor does it look like the genuine Wix WL10050 in the local auto store. Says “made in Brazil” on the filter. Disappointed.
Hose Head –
The filter and box are clearly marked “Made in Brazil”. Most information that I could find is the WIX filters are made in North Carolina? (U.S. sold products?) They do look OK with separate O rings. Box was crushed when arrived. That may be just due to the fact it was sent in a soft envelope and not a box. Anyways, I am not sure whether this is an actual WiX brand or a cheep knock offs. I am going to hold off on the install until I am sure.

I’m not sure how those with the Ford 2.7L Ecoboost Engine didn’t get this to fit or work but I had absolutely no problem with it during my oil change.
I own a 2016 2.7L F150 … the filter fit into the cylinder holder with no problems. I’ll update this on my next oil change … this is the first time I’m using this filter.

It seems more robust than the OEM. The OEM Motocraft looks like a good filter too.

Good product. I have always liked Wix filters and they are the only filters I would use in my F-150 other than Motorcraft.

This is the correct filter for the 2.7 L V6 that comes in either the MKX or Ford edge or the F150. However, there is a difference from the Motorcraft or similar filter that starts with the letter “F”. When looking at the original filter comparing it against this, if you look at the photos other people have posted you’ll notice there is no plastic end cap on either side, which could allow some flow through of minuscule amount. Other than that form, fit, and function is just fine.
