Rubber seal too stiff to fit in the RAV4 engine air filter system – clamps will not close!!! Had to return part!

Initially I could not get the clips on the filter compartment to close. It fits but it is tight. The filter looks identical to the OEM but the dimensions are very slightly different. Either way, it fits on my 2019 Camry Hybrid.

Packaging: Shipped in a branded WIX box which was good.
Product Impressions: Been using these filters for my Camry Hybrid. Don’t use those red and black filters as they let too much stuff get in your engine over time. This one does good filtering and provides good airflow.
Usability: Fits snugly in the filter casing. Creates a tight seal too.
Overall Thoughts: Easy install and quality WIX part. Good prices too.

I did not return it as it had already been used for some time. I can only say that on my toyota rav 4 hybrid fuel consumption increased by about 20%. was 38-40 mpg. became 25-28 mpg

Easy to install. Good value. Use Wix on everything and have never had a problem.

Came much quicker than expected. A bit much packaging but in perfect condition. Tested for proper fit. Will have to wait and see if filtering is as good as advertised. Otherwise, appears to be a good option for a very popular car.

I use this in my 2019 Avalon, it fits perfectly and has very similar construction to the dealership one. I replace it every 15K miles and the air box interior always looks perfectly clean when I remove the the old one. The car gets great mileage so I see no reason to spend more at the dealership.
