Perfect fit for my 2007 Saturn

Owners of 2002-2007 Saturn Vues would want to consider replacing this filter every 30,000 miles or so. It is relatively easy to access – it is under the passenger-side cowl panel (the black plastic panel under the hood and below the windshield wiper). You pop several plastic clips to get to it.
I normally use Wix filters but on a previous replacement used another brand which didn’t fit as well and had popped loose. I therefore will stick with this Wix 24872 for future replacements. I’m glad Amazon carries it because its a special order item at the local auto parts store.

The other reviewer may have received the wrong item. This fits perfectly in my 2008 Suzuki XL7 to replace the OEM filter. My XL7 was purchased as a used vehicle with 17.5K miles, only 15 months old, but the new filter made the cabin air quality smell much fresher. Highly recommended. Since the price dropped and I get free shipping, I am ordering another one today!

I bought this for my 2006 Saturn Vue and It didn’t fit. The outside dimentions matched but there were two plastic tabs that ran the width that I had to cut and modify and this took about an hour to do to make it fit..I rechecked the part number to make sure Amazon didn’t send the wrong one also.It doesn’t look like the picture posted(short black tabs).

Here is one aftermarket filter that others may be better. Unlike all other Wix air filters, the cabin filter doesn’t have a good perimeter seal. To be fair, I don’t think any of them do.

Got my saturn vue from someone who smoked. I cleaned the whole inside and still smelled like smoke through vents. I cleaned the vents still stunk. Changed this and smelled so much better!
I ended up replacing this one with a carbon activated filter which is way better! spend the extra couple bucks and get carbon activated! Way more effective in killing outside smells.
