Noticed a difference in the cabin air quality. I’ve replaced these before with the OEM filters from the dealership before but these seem to do a much better job. So far so good and equally priced if not cheaper than the dealership and seems to be a much better quality. Fit perfectly in my 2020 Toyota 4Runner.

They work great. First buy and when I went to change it after 6 months it was full of debris and dust. It’s doing its job and is sturdy. I bought another brand that starts with a letter B and that filter seem really flimsy. I would definitely recommend Wix filters.

Probably the best alternative right now to the “OEM” air filters sold by Toyota/Lexus. Local Lexus dealers where selling “OEM” filters for at least triple the price, and those aren’t even carbon ones. I’ve seen the carbon ones close to $70 at the dealer.
If your looking for a cheaper alternative that works just as good, this is it. It got rid of the weird odor i was getting when having my air on in my IS, finally! There’s nothing worse than turning on your air on a hot day and just getting a weird small out of the system. This filter seems to eliminate that entirely for me. I’m probably going to order a few more and just keep them in my garage because i’m sure they are gonna sell quick once more and more people realize they are a great alternative to the high priced ones at the dealer. Those “OEM” filters seem to collect enough dirt/bacteria to start smelling bad after only 5-7K miles. I’m hoping this one lasts me at least 10K miles, that’s the interval I plan on changing them at anyways. I’ll update when i’ve done 10k miles (should only be 3 months for me)
Installation is a breeze, it’s an exact fit like the “OEM” air filter, just take out your old filter and put this one in its place and your good to go. Enjoy the clean air 😀
Update: Been 10k miles since i installed it. Still no noticeable odors coming from the vents! I’m sure i could run it longer but i will be changing it out soon anyways as i use the air condition and heater a lot.

This is just to save everyone a headache or a mis-installation. On the OEM filters, there is an arrow indicating the orientation of the air filter in the slot. I.e. “UP” with an up arrow.
The Wix filter has an arrow, but nothing indicates in the directions or on the filter whether it indicated orientation, or the direction of airflow. Big issue!
I called Wix and the initial tech support couldn’t figure it out. I was put in touch with a product manager and she told me the arrow indicates AIRFLOW. This is very important. On a Lexus ES 350 or Toyota Camry for example, the directions included were basically for the OEM filter, which would result in putting this filter in upside-down.
So, make sure to understand which direction the air is flowing. In the 2008 Lexus ES 350 and Camry, for example, air flows top to bottom and thus on this Wix filter the arrow should point DOWN, whereas on the OEM filter it would point up.
The filter itself seems like an excellent product, but the installation instructions are misleading. I wonder how many of these things are out there installed incorrectly- probably plenty.
If Wix had better directions, this would be a 5-star. Great price for a replacement cabin air-filter, and the technology is solid in terms of charcoal activation, odor removal, mold/pollen removal, etc. I’ve only had it installed for a day, so haven’t really tested this thoroughly yet, but it seems to be working great and the air in the vehicle seems a good bit fresher (the filter I replaced was pretty old, so this is a big improvement).
The directions on this filter were not clear at all and that was a bummer. Otherwise, looks like a winning product.

A good balance of actual filtering vs. loss of airflow. My ES350 fan will still blow your hair back on higher settings. I have a strong sensitivity to odors and this filter does a good job eliminating the smells common in a vehicle HVAC system. The media is substantial and the frame does not allow bowing or flexing, meaning the fit will be good for as long as the filter remains efficient.

Good quality and nice filtration, thicker and sturdier than a lot of other brands. Wish the price was lower but what else is new. You get what you pay for lol.
Glad I picked this up right before pollen season! I’m confident it catches most finer particles. It also still allows good air flow from ac, I haven’t noticed any reduction and after seeing how dirty my previous filter was after only 8 months this replacement might’ve even been an increase in air flow!
