UPDATE: I originally gave this 5 stars – but it burned out over the winter and lasted just under a year. I even updated my power adapter for it and it never charged near as quickly as my home Google wireless charger – mostly just held it’s own or slightly charged with the GPS running. I still like how it mounted, maybe a little flimsy, but so are my a/c vents – I like vent mounts because, at least in the Summer, it keeps the charging phone cooler. Also, a good height where I can see my phone in use. I’m going to try to find a more durable one – a year’s ok, but not stellar.

This works pretty good I will say that the speed charging is not super speedy but it does keep my phone charged by charging it while I use it in the car and holds my phone pretty good the only difficulty is that I have a little attachment chain and that causes problems.
It was really easy to install and really intelligent somehow it always knows when I put my phone in.
One possible downside is that there is a button on the right side so when you put your phone in sometimes you push it by accident while trying to do other things with the phone. But the button closes and opens really quickly and it’s pretty easy to readjust or put back in

I’ve bought three of these for our bus fleet. They mount to vehicles with a little claw, either vent slat or something thin walled. Jaw rotates to grab the mounting surface in any orientation and then pivots in any direction to your desired position. Once on and tighten, they do feel like they will stay solidly on. When plugged into power they open up and stay open. As soon as it detects a phone in it, it closes the sides securely around it. To release it you can press a button on either side to open up. It is possible to also remove the phone without the button and the sides will open up but it is a little harder to remove the phone that way. Couple uses so far and it works and chargers phones without any problems. As with any wireless charging, if you have a thick case, charging may not work properly. Hopefully they will stand the test of time and I will report here accordingly.

We have 3 of these, use them on our cupholder mounts not the vent clamp. Work great, do not have to adjust for each phone as it self adjusts when putting it in the holder.

THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME, THE PRIMARY FUNCTION IS TO CHARGE THE PHONE AND IT DOESN’T, IT’S AS IF THE CHARGING AREA DOES NOT MATCH THE PHONE, SO IT IS ALL THE TIME TRYING TO CHARGE BUT IT DOESN’T. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIED EVEN WITHOUT A PHONE COVER AND MINE IS AN IPHONE 15 WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY COMPATIBLE. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE AUTOMATIC PIECES THAT HOLD THE PHONE ARE CONSTANTLY MAKING MOVEMENTS AS IF THE PHONE WAS NOT IN THE BASE. THE ONLY POSITIVE THING I SEE IS THAT IT HOLDS PERFECTLY IN THE VENTILATION WINDOW SO ONE POINT FOR THAT. I HOPE MY COMMENT HELPS OTHERS SO THEY DON’T WASTE THEIR MONEY AND TIME, THE IDEA IS GREAT, I HOPE THE DEFECTS IMPROVE SOON.
