Wish I read the reviews first I would have spent a little More money on a better one. The microfiber isn’t really true to form. It’s one looped low thread. Now reading the reviews I understand the streaking is what others experienced too. I had to go over with a paper towel. Moving forward I will use the pads it came with just apply the product and rubber band on a different cloth on to buff it out. So I’m work around the issues and keep it.

It looks like every other triangular head windshield cleaner. Head snaps onto shaft. Shaft extends a few inches from collapsed state. Needed this for my truck, used to have one that extended (let me pause to curse AI and spell correct, incorrect corrections forcing recorrection every single sentence.) a full 36 inches and was hefty. This is not hefty but is serviceable. This spade shape works well for corners and behind mirror. You must hand-wash the mitts every few uses. So, get the kit with the most mitts. I use 2cups distilled water, 1/2 cup 90% isopropyl alcohol and 2 drops of dish soap as a surfactant in a spray bottle to clean inside windows.

I bought this to clean my car windshield. But there is another good use for it.
I have dry skin. I cannot reach my back toput cream on it. Guess what , I can now with this device. I haven’t used it to clean the car windshield, but I anticipate it’s going to be just as good.!

This cleaner is simple to operate and easy to use. The plastic blade that holds the cleaning pad unsnaps for easy storage. However I don’t think that’s necessary. When the handle is collapsed completely the cleaning tool is plenty small. The handle can be left all the way in, pulled out for more reach, or set anywhere in between, and simply twisting the handle locks the handle securely to the desired length. The head/blade swivels 180′, accommodating varying angles of the glass. This also allows either the sharp point, or the opposite flat portion of the cleaning head/blade to be swiveled into the forward position so whichever one can be utilized for cleaning depending upon your needs. The head does not lock into a given swivel position. At first I though that perhaps this would lesson the cleaning effectiveness, as one couldn’t press very hard in a particular spot of the glass being cleaned, but so far this hasn’t caused any issues and the too gets the glass clean. If the swivel could be locked, it likely would quickly break off, or if the cleaner were designed to be so robust the cleaning head/blade wouldn’t break off, the contraption would be so bulky that it couldn’t readily fit into the very tight corner where the glass meets, in my case, the dashboard.
The cleaner comes with 4 cleaning “pads,” which are simply microfiber towels with an elastic band around the perimeter of the cloth to hold it securely in place.
One of the many complaints about these products I see is people comment that the handle isn’t long enough. It would be nice if this cleaner had a longer handle, maybe 3 or 4 inches longer, but the handle length on this cleaner is good enough, and it does the job, and I have a very steeply raked windshield in my car, which is what I bought this for.
I hate having small specialized tools for small, relatively mundane cleaning tasks, but this cleaner is well worth the price for the amount of time and effort it saves me, and it does a better cleaning job than I’d been doing using either my hands, or the various home-brew cleaning tools I created. If you have a windshield or back window that is difficult to clean because of the angle of the glass, of the reach required to clean the difficult to reach edges, I highly recommend getting one of these gizmos.

Great concept, but the execution is a iittle off. It didn’t make good contact with the inside of my windshield., left streaks, and felt like it was more work than it was worth. I think if I padded inside the little cover, it might be of use. Haven’t gotten around to trying that, I do it by hand again.
