Does not fit dodge durango 2001 slt even tho Amazon said it would after entering license plate and all
Jeff –
Shift cable is an inch or so too short. And only way to get it to fit is to have the gear selector in park and the transmission linkage in drive so yeah useless.

Bought this shift cable to replace the original one but found the new cable was shorter then the original so had to get one from a junkyard

My order was delayed twice. And because of this I could not get my car fixed in time and had to rent a car for two weeks
The cable it’s self is very good quality and was very fast to replace.

This did fit my 2001 Durango R/T 5.9. A slight file down adjustment to the round plastic retainer clip was needed so that it would fit into the bracket hole which is located right before the transmission lever. The plastic is slightly larger and not the right shape to fit and lock in the hole. Quick file down and snapped into place. Works just like the original did. No other adjustments needed.
