The bottom is the outlet port. There is a diaphragm being pressed down on the outlet port by a spring and the tension of the spring is adjusted with the screw on top. Fuel can enter/exit either side of the bottom chamber until it reaches enough pressure to push up on the diaphragm which allows it to flow into the outlet port. When I received my unit I had to adjust the tension screw all the way in for a couple of days to soften the spring and expand the pressure range. It’s not the most accurate but for the buck it gives your fuel the bang it needs to get thru the injectors.
If you have an older car (85 Nissan 200sx) with no factory replacements available it does the job.

Took a risk and purchased this unit, I thought at the least maybe if the body wasn’t bad, and if i replaced the fittings it might be OK, But No, its trash, I wont be risking burning down my car with this cheap product.

This product is garbage, if you are reading this review go somewhere else. First time I ordered this the regulator and gauge did not work then i returned it for another kit and the pressure did not go down past 64psi. You’re probably better off ordering off of the Wish app then this.
If zero stars were an option that’s what it would get!!

Installed this setup on an intake manifold swap. After about 4 months my gas mileage went south, and I kept smelling gas. One of the lines started to leak right in the middle of the run, right at a bend, luckily it was spraying into the wheel well and not on the engine. Regulator works fine, but use a decent brand line.

If your are using on a carb… it may be a good idea to change the pressure spring. I believe this unit comes with an efi spring.

A bracket had to be fabricated, other than that installation went smooth.

Unable to contact seller .tried many times. This unit should be replaced..unit keep dropping fuel pressure as soon as engine is turned off. Have changed all my plumbing,my fuel pump and even installed a check valve in my input fuel line with no luck. have tried to contact the seller with no luck as i would like to have this regulator replaced ASAP.
