The pipe housing body is cleanly machined, the surface is well anodised and fits on the rubber hoses snuggly. The two jubilee clips are OK but slightly on the thin side for really tightening up.
The sensor thread is spot on for taking standard temp sensor thread size.
The housing can either be cut into the radiator top hose for engine exiting water temp or into the bottom hose for rad check cooling efficiency.

Just what I needed to add a temperature sensor to my kit car cooling system. The aluminum fitting is ideal with its central threaded port for the sensor and a locking peg if needed. The 2 hose clips that also come with it are rubbish and considering the quality of the aluminium part is a bit of a let down. I would recommend the fitting but budget for 2 decent clips as well and hold the supplied ones as emergencies.

This seems to be a decent product. No complaints so far as to the housing. My issue with this product is the clamps that came with it. First off, they are thin which I do not like for my radiator hoses. More importantly: WHY INCLUDE THEM AT ALL IF THEY WON’T EVEN FIT? These would not fit around my radiator hoses at all, so I had to go out of my way to get better clamps.

Used a Mighty Vac to pump up with cap attached and water in radiator. Had to jury rig a setup.
