I have a 1991 Nissian Hardbody pickup. After oiling my air filter my MAF sensor started acting badly on startup. Since it was the original after around 200k miles, I figured I would get a new one instead of cleaning the old one.
Easy install, exact fit, and my idle speed went down a bit. Can’t ask for much more esp with free two day shipping!

I recently bought one of these parts and noticed that inside the blister designed to protect it there were metal shavings that were obvious remnants from the part itself so I proceeded to blow them out and even went as far as using my mini vacuum. It became obvious to me that it was the manufacturer that had been somewhat careless, but I let it go at that and proceeded to install the part which operated properly….until yesterday when it blew out as a result of one of these mini slivers making contact with one of the microwires inside the unit. What happens now? I’m really interested in hearing from you, until then so long!

I took it to my mechanic to change it out and the next day my car would not run. It fouled out my plugs threw it out of time and now they have ordered a computer for it.
