The electrical connector plugs into the sensor and clicks solidly with no problem. The issue is that the sensor doesn’t initially slide into the hole in the crankcase. I compared the old sensor to the new and realized the vertical “ribs” on the new sensor needed to be shaved down slightly. I carefully did this with a utility knife blade and then the new sensor fit perfectly into that hole in the crankcase.

En la descripción del producto menciona que no es compatible con un Smart Fortwo 2007 (450) aunque si es el número de parte. La refacción le quedó justo a la medida a mi auto, ya no se apaga de repente (por falla de este sensor). Eso sí, después de cambiarlo hubo que conectarlo a un escáner y correr un reaprendizaje para que funcionara correctamente.
