John G –
I installed the Walker Products 235-1266 Crankshaft Position Sensor on my 2011 Sierra 1500 after experiencing misfire issues with my engine, and it has resolved the problem completely. The sensor functions just as well as the original, and its performance has been reliable since installation.
Installation was relatively straightforward—the sensor itself is easy to mount. However, to gain proper access, I had to remove the starter, which added a bit of extra work. A word of caution: when disconnecting the sensor’s cable, be very gentle to avoid damaging it. Also, the sensor can be a bit stubborn to remove, so handle it carefully.
Overall, considering its affordable price, this sensor is a great value for anyone looking to fix misfire issues. It has proven to be a reliable replacement, and I would definitely recommend it.

I replaced this sensor cause i had an oil leak at the sensor, and got this brand cause they are a better then the others, checked with rockauto first and they show this as a better one to get, so i did… you do have to remove the starter to get to it
