Have got 2 of these one was received in bad shape and the other replacement is still getting a code for it. I’ll update my review if the 3rd replacement works. It’s for my friends 98 Ram 2500 V10 which I plan on buying next year so I would want it to run correctly.
Update I bought the truck and both the cam and crank sensors are probably bad. I bought both from the same company/manufacturer and Amazon sent me this before through them because a lady from Walker Products said I have to go through amazon 🤦🏾♂️. I just want my truck to run right I had to pay 100 dollars for a tow and my house was maybe a mile up the road but I have a lifted 2500 on 40s there’s no pushing that.

I think the first one I got was bad so I had to order another one

I think it’s a good part, I’ve not tested it enough though ‘cause my truck is not working yet due to another electrical issue

It fit without any problems 👍

Direct replacement part for the 97+ Dodge Ram V10. Will also work on the earlier models with a simple connector change. Walker brand is the only one known to last.

I’m not sure why the listing states both Camshaft and Crankshaft sensor, as this is the crankshaft sensor only. Fit like a glove, appeared to be better made than the OEM I replaced. I opted to replace this sensor, the camshaft sensor (part# 235-1115), and the MAP sensor as I was getting pulsation of engine RPM when engine was warm prior to replacement. You can ohm these parts out to identify which is bad – but I’m too lazy to do that. This part is located on the passenger side engine block near oil filter, it’s hidden by an engine mount – use a 13mm open end wrench or ratchet wrench to loosen the bolt, start and run the engine until engine block luke-warm to touch. Removal is best done with passenger tire removed (allows for more wiggle room) and loosening ATF lines bolts both before and after engine mount. Using a small pry bar it should pop out, expect to break the dog ear on the old one getting it out – keep tip of crow bar or large flat head screw driver near flange and twist/pry out – oil on new o-ring allows for easier insert. Install is reverse of removal hope this helps…
