Yeah, this was strike 2. Said it fit the Subaru…but it didn’t. I didn’t have to put this one in to find out the connector didn’t match up though, that’s about the ONLY silver lining.

No issues on install for an 04 WRX. Just remove the alternator and there it is! 19mm deep socket to remove/install it is helpful.

Fixed problem

Have to change pretty quick. Coolant will leak out.
I had to quickly take off and reuse the small metal gasket from the old one.
It didn’t come with a new one.

Great and cheap alternative to the oem sensor. Have used these multiple times and they’ve always worked without fail

It fits perfect to my Subaru Forester 2001. The only thing to improve the product is sell it with a copper washer.

I highly recommend this sensor over others. I had purchased two sensors of different brands and diagnosed my complete wiring to the sensor and had no luck fixing my temp gauge issue. As a last ditch effort I bought this sensor. And problems solved!!

I knew this was the problem with my car, so I bought one at Oreilly’s, but it didn’t work, straight out of the box, so I bought this one, it worked perfectly. The damn thing is I paid 3 times as much for the Oreilly’s one and I couldn’t return it. I guess I’m just going to have to but all my parts through Amazon for now on.
