Edit 10/24/18: I put these Wagners on a Subaru Impreza late last November (2017) and on my Saab wagon a year prior and I love them. I don’t drive much so the pads don’t even show any wear on the Saab (I’m not a hard braker.) and I got a really good look at them putting on new calipers. When I rotated the Subaru tires I checked the pads, in the 11 months there is wear but at least 3/4 of the pads left (a LOT of driving and hard and high speed braking) . Noisy ??? Neither set on either car have never made a squeak. Years ago I did have pads “professionally” installed and they screeched like crazy. The mechanic had put them in backwards !!! Still love the stopping ability. Adding another star to 5.

After significant research I went with the Wagners for a 2015 Subaru Impreza. (I do a lot of research on purchases, some times wayyyy too much . . .) I compared all the usual auto parts stores and brands and it came down to these Wagners for quality and wear, and a brand with a Japanese name (which seemed equally good.) I put ceramics on my Saab Wagon a year ago and love the stopping power. (Some warn about using ceramic for heavier vehicles like bigger trucks and SUV’s so do the research.) 7 of the factory pads I replaced had 1/3rd the life left the 8th was worn past the metal that attaches the brake material on one side ! Yes, quite noisy. The job was straightforward once you figure out how to install the pads with the clips they come with, that was a pain but eliminates the need for brake lube. (The lube packet these come with are for the backs of the pads to eliminate squeaking.) You have to tap the clips into where the pads sit, like an insert. Use a wide, flat screwdriver or chisel to seat those clips in the corners so the pad “ears” will pop in with minimal force. It helps not to do it in 40 degree weather in a sleet squall . . . Several good Youtube vids on Subaru brakes. Driving the interstate in a blizzard with snow tires on that little Impreza tank made me glad I got to the brake job before winter. GREAT STOPPING POWER !!! Now to see about the wear . . . The driver is a jack rabbit . . .

They seem to be working properly.
Almost exact replica of the. original brake pads that came with the Subaru outback. Slight difference on the back end, side that does not touch the rotor. The original pads came with a flat thin metal that was stuck to the back of the pads. I took it off and put it on these new pads.
They fit well, but is a very tight fit into its place on the brake caliper. Took me a few tries to get it to fit.
The original pads lasted me 9 years, and never reached that metal piece that alerts you the brakes are low. Hoping these do as well, or better.

Bought these with a set of Wagner Premium E-Coated rotors for our Subaru Impreza in June 2018. Easy installation – no fit issues. Combo has worked very well – no wear issues, good stopping distance, no noise. Will buy again when the time comes.

I don’t know what third work county web marketeer made this ad, these pads are decent because I used Wagner in the rear purchased from Rock Auto, these are genuine Wagner pads but the description is crap. These are FRONT ceramic pads for your Subaru. Pads are four and a half stars but web description is two stars.

Well made authentic Wagners. Perfect fit. As good as OEM.

Fits my 2014 Subaru Forester like a glove although this website insists they do not .. I searched Oriellys for what I needed and searched the part # here.. not sure why I’d be steered away from quality parts like Wagner in favor of lesser quality marked up junk from other dealers.. At any rate they work as good as they look and they look great .. Nice substantial equipment, hearty and modern design and look, no noise in application.. Cant say enough, big fan of these pads.. fits like a glove and grips like a vice..

A lot of these reviews mention squeaking and other issues that fall solely on the installers. I installed these pads on my 2017 Forester with zero issues. Brake clips fit the caliper bracket perfectly. I put a light coating of CRC disc brake quiet on the clips, between the bracket and the clips, and on the back of the pads. Threw some AGS Sil-glyde (do not use regular grease as it can deform rubber) on the caliper pins after cleaning off the original grease too. After buttoning everything back up and torquing everything properly, I had actually less squealing (had a very very light squeal at low speed) than I originally did with the OEM pads. This is a good kit that provides you just about everything you need to do a proper brake pad change. Highly recommend you get the CRC and AGS greases though as they absolutely make all the difference in your brake job.
