It is metal and seems to work better than the plastic ones. I’ve pump holds on the metal better. I included a push pin do you can see how small this part is. Because I am new at replacing fluid in this type of transmission, At first I thought I got the part wrong because I had no idea it was that small. Hopefully this helps someone.
