A exclusividade da “The Spartan” é inegável.
A recepção da “The Spartan” é inigualável.

Fit my 18 Colorado perfectly. Looks better than the stock antenna and is flexible enough not to get ripped off. I mostly bought this because the FM radio in the truck was simply terrible, but to be honest the antenna didn’t change it any at all. Didn’t have any effect on the satellite stations which were good to begin with, so that was good. Wish it had improved the FM , but the poor sound must be something to do with the factory head unit.

I drive a lifted 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4. I was getting tired of the antenna hitting any clearance bar. I also look for subtle additions to the original Onyx Black with red accents in the AT4 package. I liked the length of this antenna, the fact it is copper coil, and the carbon fiber red accents. It took maybe 2 minutes to swap out and fit as well as the factory one I removed. It looks amazing! It is short and flexible. I was skeptical about reception, I live in the foothills of Colorado, so the terrain causes radio reception challenges and I listen to over the air a lot. First run to work this morning with my Spartan installed. I have to say in my opinion, it greatly increased my reception over the factory. The first response was I had to turn the volume down. It is flexible, and the topper accent is pretty cool because the antenna is short enough to see it out the windshield. I give this 5 stars with ease.

I installed this antenna on a Ford Maverick. I chose this length antenna because it’s the longest antenna that will clear my home’s garage door when I choose to park in my garage. BTW, I have no experience with commercial car washes impact on this antenna or the original antenna. I live in rural northern Nevada about 25 miles north of Reno. I tested both the original 8 inch antenna and this antenna while parked on my 600 foot long driveway’s 40 foot high hill. I chose mid morning to do the test so that AM radio reception would not be impacted by night time ionospheric skip which can cause distant stations signals reception to drift in and out, something that could skew my test reception results. On a superficial cursory scan of reception there was no difference in reception of LOCAL AM or FM stations. The caveat is that where I live in northern Nevada it’s mountainous terrain. So I dug deeper and took notes while parked on my hill for every broadcast channel/frequency on the AM and FM bands. The result was much different. On the AM band I received 28 additional radio stations with this new longer antenna than the stock antenna. These were radio stations in the northern Sierras and the Sacramento area. They were noticeably weaker signals than the local radio stations but they were clearly listenable/intelligible. I did not test any radio reception while driving for safety reasons, I was not going to take notes while driving. On the FM band there was no difference in the number of stations I could receive with either antenna which was to be expected since FM radio is essentially “line of sight” reception with the surrounding local mountains blocking signals outside the immediate Reno-Tahoe-Carson City-Susanville-Portala-Truckee region. In flat terrain FM reception results between the 2 antennas might (should?) be different. A side observation by my neighbor was the longer antenna suggested my vehicle was an unmarked highway patrol unit, especially since my Maverick is the same color as their vehicles….also it seems many (civilian) folks want shorter antennas because they look cool and/or they go to car washes which some say creates issues with longer antennas. My neighbor jokingly remarked drivers near me on highways/roads might drive “better/nicer” thinking I’m the highway patrol…. LOL….for me it gets 5 STARS.

This fits my Chevy 2003 Avalanche. It mounts with the smaller of the two adaptors that come with the antenna. Reception works well in south Dallas area. No complaints there. I was looking for an antenna that was at least as good as the factory antenna and feel safe it will make it through the car wash and this fits my expectations. I have this running to a new Alpine iLX-507 head unit with HD Radio and all my programmed stations do come in with this antenna. Very happy with the product and I would recommend it to anyone.

I guess my factory F150 attena broke off in a carwash or got stolen. In either case, the radio started sounding bad and I discovered my antenna was gone. In case it was a carwash issue, I wanted a shorter, flexible antenna. I bought this based on good reviews and the clain to be carwash safe. So after running it for a whaile, here is my take:
Looks, it’s just okay. The carbon fiber “look” looks cheesy and fake. But after I am used to it, I likely won’t notice. Just not worth the extra cost.
Sound quality is better than no antenna at all, but nothing close to what is advertized. I live in the mountainous area of Utah. Not ideal for good reception, but this antenna appeared to reach further, so I spent the extra money for additional range. I don’t know how things are rated, but it isn’t even close to the OEM antenna in sound quality.
It was easy to install. Unscrew the remaining screw still left from my OEM antenna and screw in this replacement. Done.
If I decide to return it, I’ll probably pick up an OEM antenna because it sounded SO much better. I DON’T recommend this antenna. Not at all as advertized.

I have waited a little over a month to leave a review, but it’s time.
I ordered this antenna because the one that came on my truck hit the garage door every time I went in or out. I am extremely satisfied with the antenna and the speed it was delivered – 3 days through the mail.
I get good reception especially on AM stations where I pick up talk radio. And to top it off, they even had color match for my maroon pickup. This is a good company with outstanding service. Thank you.
