I own 2 mounts from this brand with this same magsafe attachment. The reviews are going to be a lot alike. I recently ordered a magsafe case for my S22 ultra and wanted some accessories. I ordered 2 of these magsafe mounts. I first ordered the cup holder mount and loved it so much that I got this dashboard mount with the same magsafe adapter. Both sets came with 2 metal rings for non magsafe devices. I own a bunch of 17mm ball and socket mounts and adapters that I can mix and match. I decided to attach one of these magsafe afapters on my rearview mirror mount. I like this dashboard mount. It sticks great to the dashboard, and it swivels. My case sticks very firmly to the magsafe adapter. I also used the included metal rings for a tablet and a Garmin GPS. I had to grind down the GPS ring in order to still use the original Garmin Mount, but it still works great. I stuck the other metal ring to my 10.1″ Samsung tablet and also has a solid hold. The mount itself also sticks to the dashboard or surface of your choice. One thing I have learned about using double-sided tape is that you need to clean the surface area and let the adhesive cure before applying pressure to it. This kit came with wipes for cleaning the surface on my tablet and GPS. It removes any dirt, debris, dust, and oils. After I stuck the mount to the dashboard, I left it to cure for 24 hours before attaching anything to it. I did the same with the rings that I stuck to the GPS and tablet, I waited 24 hours before trying them out on the mount. A lot of people don’t realize you need to let double-sided tape cure just like glue or any other adhesive. If you don’t give it a proper hardening time, then the metal ring will most likely come off when you try to pull the device away from the magnets. I see negative reviews all the time for double-sided tape from people who tried to use it right away before it cured. I am very happy with both of the mounts I ordered from this brand. They are well-made and have very strong magnets. I also like the look of these. I’ve seen some with different colors. I like the plain black and chrome. I ordered another mount from another brand, and it is not as strong as these. Also, the metal ring that came with the other brand did not have the same pull force. I would like to get a 3rd mount like this for my work vehicle.

Die KFZ-Halterung von volport macht einen einwandfrei verarbeiteten Eindruck auf mich.
Der Sockel wird einfach an einer gewünschten Stelle im Auto oder eventuell auch sonst wo angebracht. Vorher sollte man den Untergrund säubern, dazu ist auch ein Reinigungstuch dabei.
Ein Ersatz-Klebepad ist auch dabei, falls man mal den Montageort ändern will z.B. durch Wechsel des Autos…
Sobald die Halterung an einer stabilen Position angebracht wurde, kann man sie sofort nutzen:
Das iPhone mit MagSafe (ab iPhone 12-Serie oder andere Smartphones mit MagSafe bzw. kompatibler Schutzhülle oder aufgeklebtem Adapterring) muss nur mit der Rückseite mittig an die Halterung geschoben werden, schon haftet es magnetisch. dabei lässt es sich noch drehen, bleibt aber immer mit dem Mittelpunkt am Magnet. Durch nach unten ziehen lässt es sich sehr leicht abnehmen, aber es hat bisher bei Autofahrten auch mit dem großen, schweren iPhone 14 Pro Max gehalten. Zwar scheint es mir nicht absolut sicher, aber ganz okay vom Halt.
Drahtloses MagSafe-Aufladen wird natürlich von dieser reinen Halterung nicht unterstützt – also entweder aufladen mit Kabel oder man muss sich nach einem anderen Halter mit Ladefunktion umsehen – da gibt es auch mittlerweile einige.
Geräte ohne MagSafe:
Vorbildlich liefert volport gleich zwei schwarze Magnet-Scheiben zum Aufkleben mit.
Damit kann man einfach normale Smartphone-Hüllen (oder auch direkt Smartphones, wenn man das will) mit der Halterung nutzen!
Und außerdem ist damit dann auch anderes MagSafe-Zubehör kompatibel, wie z.B. Tisch-Ständer.
Sollte man drahtlose Qi-Ladung nutzen, muss man allerdings genau aufpassen: Die Magnet-Halterung muss genau in der Mitte, direkt über dem Lade-Element anbringen, damit die Ladung noch einwandfrei klappt.
Natürlich könnte man mit so einer Magnetscheibe aber auch andere Geräte nutzen, z.B. kleinere Navis mit entsprechend flacher Rückseite…
Fazit:
Für Nutzer von iPhones mit MagSafe (ab iPhone 12-Serie oder neuer, nicht beim iPhone SE direkt eingebaut, nur mit passenden Hüllen/Adapter) eine einwandfreie, einfache Halterung. Der Halt scheint mir in Ordnung, das anbringen ist auch okay. So bald sie fixiert ist, lässt sich das iPhone denkbar einfach anbringen und abnehmen. Wer Schutzhüllen benutzt, muss allerdings eine MagSafe-kompatible Hülle verwenden (oder sie per Adapter kompatibel machen), sonst wird das iPhone nicht halten.
Je nach Auto muss man natürlich vorher sehen, ob man entsprechende Oberflächen zum anbringen zur Verfügung hat und sonst gibt es auch diverse andere Halterungen mit MagSafe z.B. zum Anklemmen an den Lüftungsschlitzen…

I installed this in my Jeep Wrangler. Overall I’m happy with it. Could it be better? Definitely. But, it does the job.
Pros:
– The base is low profile, giving it flexibility on where in the car you want to install.
– The 3M tape is holding tight, even with the weight of the iPhone.
– The magnetic strength is really strong – there is a nice, strong satisfying click when it grabs the phone.
Cons
– It vibrates – a LOT. I’m not talking about when I’m offroading in my Jeep – it vibrates going through a mini mall parking lot. That’s a bit irritating. Other than that, great little holder.

This is a good car/iPhone/MagSafe compatible holder
I needed something for on top of my dashboard. That was small yet sturdy and strong enough to hold a large iPhone – 16 Pro Max plus.
The magnet is very strong and I did not need the additional magnet supplied in order to make it work for my phone, but they are very good to have for phones/cases that are not naturally MagSafe compatible
It was easy to install. Definitely listen to the instructions that tell you to wait up to 24 hours before putting your phone on the holder! I found out the hard way that you have to follow these instructions.
It’s been incredibly cold – below zero for the past week and the holder is still sticking strong to my dashboard
It’s close to the heating vent and the hot heat is also not affecting the glue in a negative way

This was very easy to install and is holding solid where I mounted it. Perfect height to not be in my view but keep the screen visible for my GPS. Magnet is very strong and was easy to apply to my phone case.

The volport for MagSafe Adhesive Phone Mount is AWESOME!! Peel and stick application make it useable just about anywhere you desire. I easily attached to my nightstand, to prevent my kitties from knocking it off; after four months it shows no signs of coming off.
It is indeed MagSafe and is a super strong magnet (totally crazy cat proof). This works well and I highly recommend, it’s one of the best I’ve ever used!

Make sure you follow the instructions about letting it cure, and this little holder will stick where others can’t even dream of.
It’s had no trouble holding any of our devices (though there’s a little vibration with the heavier ones in our diesel at low revs, I think due to the narrower attachment surface), it’s stuck solidly to a narrow curved section next to the radio, the magnet head stays where we put it, A+, would definitely buy again.

I like how versatile this holder is. It attaches well, and holds my phone tightly. The most difficult part is finding the right place on the dash to mount it out of the way. Other than that, I’ll be using it and see how well it stands up to summer heat and winter cold.
