Fits on my 2016 VW Golf, but Check Engine Light wont go away, the cap does not click, will keep driving, as I have read could take up to 100 miles driving for it to go away, just to verify took it to Autozone and they x

I think it’s very disingenuous to leave a negative review because they wanted to use a PART of this and it didn’t work with OEM cap. This worked perfectly for me. I used the whole cap. It made my Check Engine Light go away within 50 miles. It doesn’t click but a click doesn’t pass emissions. It seals tight and worked for me. It did the job intended and that was to replace the cap and make the CEL disappear. Now I can get my emissions pass.
