This is the best air filter I have used. I have it installed on my 2011 Duramax using an S&B CAI. I was working out in West Texas in the desert fighting the dust. The S&B dry filter on my CAI let dust in leaving the inside of the intake elbow covered in dust; the filter was only 1 month old. I switched to the PowerCore and I have never seen the inside on my intake dirty since. Haven’t noticed any performance increase compared to the S&B, but all the really matters to me is that the air is clean.
This filter should have all 5 star reviews but someone left a 1 star because they purchased the wrong size.

Makes my tundra sound like a jet when I floor it! Definitely not a 100,000 mile filter but does an amazing job at keeping debris out. I change them out every 30k. And price was awesome too this is the cheapest I found anywhere!

Installed this as a replacement filter for my 2009 Dodge Ram, had to contact Volant to get the correct part number though-perfect fit too!

I have a Volant 150666 intake system on my 2007 LBZ Chevy Silverado. This filter fit perfectly. Needed to wiggle it into my filter box but once I got it turned over in the box it fit snuggly on the ring and I was able to clamp it down securely. It says it’ll last for awhile so let’s see how long it does for me. As of now with the installation and look, I like it.

Had to buy a replacement Volant Filter for my 2003 Silverado with a 6.0 engine. Amazon’s vehicle fitment guide said that this filter (#61508) would fit my truck. It did not fit, as the offset wasn’t enough and wouldn’t allow the lid to be bolted flat to the Volant filter box. #61508 is a universal fit filter but didn’t work for me. The correct filter for my truck I found out was #61517. It shows the same measurements but the offset in the filter neck is different. Great filters and last forever. No mess either since you don’t have to oil them.

This is the wrong size filter for my 2016 Denali HD Duramax S&B CAI. I had to send it back and get the 61507 as the 2016 S&B has a 5.5″ intake flange not the 6″ flange that the earlier trucks had which is what this filter is for. Good product just the wrong product for my application.

I had purchased the Volant CAI for my 2010 Toyota Tundra and swapped this over to my 2011 when I got it. The old filter was still good, but for safe measure I purchased a new one since it was getting old. The filter that came with my CAI when I purchased it had roughly ~3 years and ~50,000 miles of off road (gravel, dirt, and seeds) from driving around on my farm. The filter had some seeds stuck in the filter which meant it was doing it’s job, but I wanted to replace it with a new filter due to the age and mileage. I just matched the part number and purchased the replacement filter needed for my CAI. I’ll probably replace the filter again when my 2011 gets ~50,000 miles on it just to be safe.
