TECHnical –
I got these to connect my batteries to various things for solar charging and inverters, etc. I didn’t realize that 4/0 wasn’t 4 gauge, but the posts actually fit 10 AWG wire.
Designer quality construction, likely milled out of a solid aluminum block. Box with padded wells to match. These would look great where the system is visible to others.
These are aluminum so some care is required when turning screws so they don’t bite into the aluminum. Even though made for large wire I was able to get 10 AWG to hold well, due to the curvature of the enclosure forcing the wire towards the center under the screw. With some bolts this would work with ring connectors on top as well.

these are useful for my solar battery collaborative. these are well constructed very nicely made and exceptionally Pleasant to look at.
these are not your normal terminals they are well constructed and have a lot of quality put into them. presentation factor is in 10 for presentation and makes a gift for those who do Automotive or any kind of work with batteries where they need extra connectors going to any lug terminal.
I was actually taken back when I open the package because I had no idea what was in the well crafted and great looking box that it comes in.this gets a 10 out of 10 stars for presentation for that person that would appreciate these

This terminal distribution block makes hooking up my sound system so much easier. No more having to add another block and running wires there to split and worrying about having large enough wires to do so. You can connect 8 awg or up to 4/0 wires directly to this block. Of course, you’ll still want to run some fuses to ensure safety, but this makes life a whole lot easier to running power to your other devices.

I needed to replace my battery terminals. I saw these and figured I would give them a try. This kit came with everything that was needed. This made the job so much easier to do. I was able to get it all done by myself and they are working great. I have had no issues since I installed them. This product is great.

This terminal post is a great option for GM side post style batteries. Our truck (2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD – Duramax and Allison combo) has several aftermarket accessories that require high amp output. The only way to provide that power is a direct connection to the battery. I had been using a brass post adapter that provided an extended terminal for connections, but this setup requires all the accessory cables to be disconnected before the battery cable.
These Vgate terminal connectors are a huge improvement. The flexibility to add or remove accessories without dealing with a single point of connection is super convenient. Off-road lighting, winch, and plow connections can all be separated now. When additional accessories are added, there is no need to mess with other connections. When jump-starting another vehicle, the Vgate post provides a much better point of contact for the jumper cables. My favorite feature is not having to disconnect all the accessories when the battery needs to be disconnected or removed! It’s a single terminal disconnect with all the accessory connectors attached to the Vgate terminal.
Some GM trucks (like ours) are known for ground issues. These terminals provide the option to add ground connections to mitigate factory chassis ground issues. This has made a noticeable improvement in the overall performance of the truck. I noticed the Allison transmission had cleaner and improved shift timing, and the random malfunctions of gauges or air conditioning controllers have stopped.
Caution (unrelated to these terminals): A ground loop issue can be caused by incorrect placement of additional chassis and body grounds. There are several videos available online that provide excellent recommendations for this specific issue.
The materials and finish of these terminals are excellent. We have had a set of Vgate terminals on our Jeep for several months with zero indications of corrosion between the terminals and battery. The batteries in both the truck and Jeep were only a couple of months old when I installed the Vgate terminals. (Tech Tip: It is worth cleaning the battery terminals with a wire brush and baking soda, then rinsing with distilled water before installing new terminals.)
Bottom line: I highly recommend these Vgate connectors for anyone with a GM side post style battery. The flexibility to add accessories, having a clean connection, and show quality installation makes these a worthwhile investment.
