I didn’t really like the mechanism they use to hold and release the phone. Due to the small button in back I kept fumbling to find it and usually had to readjust the holder. Over time I’m sure I’d be able to find it through muscle memory I just found it a bit inconvenient. Also my vents arent sturdy enough to support my phones weight properly so I had to angle the holder at a weird angle that didnt seem very secure for long term purposes. Overall it probably a good holder, just my space was awkward for it.
Edit: customer support reached out and was very responsive to my review even offering another design. Unfortunately I already found another product that currently better suits my needs. Am increasing to 4 stars due to customer service. Again, I’d like to stress that my earlier review mainly focuses on the fact that this just didn’t suit my needs/space but overall seems like a good product. I cannot speak to long term durability but it felt sturdy and installation as easy.

It has an easy install right out of the box. I looked at it, at first glance, and said,”That WILL NOT fit my Galaxy S7, let alone my wife’s S10+. Read the instructions and pushed the button, located conveniently on the bottom backside, where my finger naturally finds it when installs on my cars air conditioning vent. Viola’, the mechanism opened with a dampened response. I set my phone in it and squeezed it to clamp my phone in position. It is really easy to used.
1.) It is, truly, easy to operate.
2.)The mechanical operation is not sloppy.
3.) The construction and fabrication material is of a good grade of plastic. It does not flex or bend where it is no supposed to.
4.) You power the phone, or selected device, with the devices original charger. No connector to wear out.
5.). It transfers to different vehicles with ease.
6.) It holds the device in place when emergency maneuvering at a high rate of speed.
I am a professional Electronics Engineer of >40years. I recommend this product. I am in the process of purchasing another.

This is the best vehicle vent phone cradle that I’ve found. I have 2 of these, with one more on the way. It’s easy to install, and the clamps hold well, with very good adjustment. I purchased one 2 years ago, and it ended up breaking near the clamp. I’m not sure why, but it didn’t stop me from ordering 2 more. I totally forgot about the warranty until I opened one of the new boxes and saw the warranty card inside. I contacted VANMASS customer service, and they quickly responded and are sending me a new one. I definitely recommend VANMASS and will order from them again.

Pros: The mounting setup easy. Mounting is stable and doesn’t pull down the AC vents
Cons: The arms and bottom rack are too shallow for my iphone in Otterbox case with Popsocket attached.
This is probably not a good choice with any cell phones with thick case.

I bought a pair of these last year for the family cars. These met my needs perfectly, and have proven well worth the money. What really stands out is the customer service, which is better than I have ever experienced before (Thanks Maggie!).
The product feels sturdy, appears made of solid plastic/metal/rubber, and is tightly constructed. It also appears to be built to repair, with screws instead of glue in some places. Replacement parts are hard to find though.
They come with two different ways to secure on the A/C vents, and are easy to install and hold very securely. The gimbal on the attach point ensures my phone is always oriented correctly. The plastic holding the gimbal to the phone mount may be a bit weak for the job, more on that later.
The phone clip is massive and supports my ridiculously large Samsung S22 Ultra and iPhone 11 Pro Max with no issues. It’s effortless to mount the phones–simply drop it in and squeeze the sides to secure it. The guides are deep and help minimize alignment problems I’ve experienced with other phone mounts. There’s a button on the back which opens the side clips and releases the phone. One quibble here–the clips are very slow to release, and sometimes require assistance to open fully–this could be because I’m operating at the edge of how far these clips open.
Service: I snapped the mounting clip off while trying to break the mount down to take on a road trip, and thought this item was done. Noticing it appeared to be a replaceable part that broke, I reached out to VANMASS to see if I could buy a new part. I expected to get some generic reply weeks or months later, and was shocked to receive a personal reply from a human almost immediately. Maggie from VANMASS responded right away, apologized for my issue and offered to replace my mount with no questions. I took a while to get back to her with my address, and she was very patient and still responded quickly to me. I live overseas, so it turned out she could not ship directly to me, which one might expect would be the end of it, but not for Maggie. She then authorized me to purchase another one, and refunded the purchase.
Maggie, you’ve made me a VANMASS customer for life, thanks for taking such good care of me. Great product, fantastic customer service.

This is a great product. We used it with iPhone 12s and iPhone 13 Pros. We recently upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it fits in the cradle just fine. However, we need another cradle. One of our cars is using two vent attachments with cradles, and our business vehicle is using one suction cup attachment with no cradle (if we forget to grap one from the other car), so we have more attachments than cradles because our suction cup version came with an extra vent holder but only one cradle.
