The holder was easy to install on the vent as was the ring on the back of my iPhone case. However on two occasions when I drove over a bump in the road the phone came off the holder and fell to the floor.

I’m happily suprised how easy and well it works. Not sure what the transparent stickers are for.
The plan was for it to sit in the centre of the car. Turns out the size of the phone and position interferes with the steering wheel and buttons.
I actually prefer it on the right of the steering wheel. Magnet works very well keeping it in position.

I have been looking for a good car mount for my older Lexus, and I came across this product that answered all my needs.
Firstly, the design is very sleek and modern and very sturdy, great build quality. I intially wasn’t sure if it would fit my weirdly shaped air vents but the extendable hook which you stick in makes it so so much easier to not only use but also move on a dime when you need to. For the past few days, I have been across various terrains and the phone never ever would budge, which is a testament to the great quality magnets used, absolutely no worries about my iPhone 13 Pro Max falling down. Also the MagSafe Mount doesn’t block air flow even as we wrap up summer, and makes accessing my phone that much easier on the road. It even comes with an extra compatibility ring for non-Magsafe devices and/or cases, which means any phone is compatible.
I just want to say if you’re looking for a well-built, sturdy mount for your car to make life on road a little bit easier, you couldn’t do any better than this little champ. I wholeheartedly recommend to all phone lovers!

Tried to install this in a Toyota. But the way that vent clip is bent at the end you would need razor thin vents in order for it to actually grab hold. I tried for about 45 minutes and then took the thing into the garage to bend the end more open. I finally got it to stay, but not good enough. It has fallen out easily at least 5 times in less than a week. There is NOT ENOUGH width on the curved tip to actually grab the vent fin and stay in place. It is almost useless because if I adjust my phone and it falls off while driving, I am totally stuck just sticking my phone in the cup holder for the rest of the trip. I DO NOT RECOMMEND (unless you horizontal vent fins are razor thin but still strong enough).
When I get home from my trip, I am going to bend the crap out of the metal clip to get it to work possible, otherwise it is trashed.

Update – bending a more usable clip end, it is still is terrible. The threads to tighten the clip actually slip and it still falls off. I’ll keep the magnet end plate and ball joint, but the rest is going in the trash.

Works greats on my Mini Cooper air vent top adjustable blade . It is a great spot to have your phone at eye level instead of having to look down at a cup holder type .I have a square magnet on my phone case which works better then the ring magnet sent with the holder.Stays in place and doesn’t bounce around when you slide it a little over main screen on dashboard.

I bought this for a road trip in a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and it was perfect. It fits the vertical vents perfectly and doesn’t wiggle or make any noise. Very easy to install and hasn’t shifted at all. It’s a great deal considering other options are over $100. The magnetic force is strong and holds the phone securely.

This works on circular Mercedes Benz concave vents. Best I’ve found for my GLK 350! Secure, magnet strong, etc. Definitely recommend
