They are small for the post they were intended for but I just used two and placed them around the post to fit snug. Overall worked well

Straight up, this is not the proper repair as you should change the terminal clamp. But sometimes you have to do a quick fix on a budget. It worked well, you can easily cut it and make it thinner to fit.

Maybe my mistake but it certainly was not clearly stated, otherwise I would not have wasted my time buying something I really needed. DOES NOT fit automotive battery terminals. Too small. Overall looks to be a well made product though.

It is next to impossible to find a simple inexpensive battery clamp that fits the very small JIS (often referred to as Japanese Pencil-Post) battery terminals. So called “Universal” battery clamps only account for the small difference between US and European battery terminals but don’t clamp down small enough for JIS terminals.
This item from Uxcell contains 2 pairs of shims (each pair consisting of one larger shim for the positive terminal and a smaller shim for the negative terminal) which means the package is good for converting 2 batteries from JIS to US/European standard terminals.
These shims are the perfect size and flexible for a good fit since they are made out of lead.
I used these shims with “universal” battery clamps from Duralast. Everything fits well for a good electrical contact and mechanical strength.
I’m very happy with this purchase.

The dimensions of these shims (2.5 mm thick and 12 mm inside diameter on the smaller shim) are a good match for JIS “pencil post” terminals. If you have a battery with this size of terminal (found on some, especially older, Japanese cars) and you need to connect a cable with SAE- or DIN-sized clamps, these are your shims.
If you need to connect a positive clamp to a negative post like the product description suggests, or connect DIN clamps to SAE posts, you’ll be happier with a shim that’s 1 or 1.5 mm thick. I can only assume that the people writing the English-language product description were only marginally familiar with the different combinations of sizes that you might need a shim for.

I got this fancy LiFePO4 battery to replace the 5-year-old lead-acid battery in my Fit, only to find out that the battery posts are way smaller than the current battery. Apparently, the new battery has what’s called Japanese Pencil Posts (JIS), whereas my car connects to SAE standard posts.
These adapters were apparently made for this purpose.
I was able to make strong connections with them on.

I agree with many here in regards that these will not fit many, if any, standard batteries here in the U.S.. Perhaps they fit batteries in other countries?? The only battery I can think of that these spacers would fit is a small motorcycle battery….maybe…do not take my word for it! These are maybe 1/4″, or slightly larger. You need to squeeze them around the terminal completely and NOT cut up into shims to wedge as some say they do…this can and has, led to electrical arcs in some configurations. Not safe. They are as advertised in reference to material, shape, purpose and quantity. Will work fine if you have a very small battery.
