Got this for my Japanese mini truck. It has an unidentifiable battery draw that is intermittent, requiring a jump start more often than I like. The battery i not conveniently located so his makes it a lot easier to jump it with a portable jumper. It’s made fairly well and provides convenience. I have to say that it is bigger than I expected. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions.

If you look at the photo, it shows it comes with two screws, washers, and nuts, along with an Allen wrench. Sending it with two long sheet metal screws that will go into plastic is crappy. Advertising brass everything, which shows up WITHOUT brass connections, is also disheartening. HOWEVER, for the price, it will work.

The battery on my 1978 Allis Chalmers 5050 is pretty difficult to reach. (Impossible without removing the grill). And the fact that it will sit for months without being used really takes a toll on the battery. These remote posts are a life saver. I can hook up a battery jump box when needed. Or better yet just clip a battery maintainer when it’s in storage. The cable length was long enough to get mounted in a reasonably sheltered place and the wire gauge is plenty for most battery chargers. This was a great idea!!
