I used it for my RotoPax. I had to use JB weld to keep the clamping part from rotating downward when the heavy rotopax was added.

The mount itself seems sturdy and of good quality, but this mount has some issues. First, the hardware supplied is an in-between size. A metric wrench doesn’t fit the bolt (allen) head and an SAE wrench is too loose. After stripping two of the bolt heads, I ended up replacing the bolts with my own hardware. The two large bolts are M8-1.25×15 and the four smaller bolts are M6-1.-x25. Do yourself a favor and buy those bolts before this arrives. Secondly, the plate tabs are not parallel to the plate. This means you’ll have to loosely put on the mount brackets, begin attaching the plate, and leaving the plate bolts loose. Once everything is in place, begin tightening up all of the bolts, rotating from bolt to bolt until everything is tight.
The biggest fault with this is the hardware. Get your own and this is a decent mount. However, why doesn’t the manufacturer use somewhat decent hardware?

Works as it should. I’ve seen a few reviews stating the rotopax mount holes don’t line up. I think this is
100% user error. The holes in this mount are intended to mount the center part of the rotopax mount directly to. NOT the center mount with the flat mounting plate. If you try to bolt the flat plate to it, the holes will not align…. Remove the plate from your mount, use the two bolts used to attach your center mount to the plate, to attach the center mount directly to this mount, and it will work perfectly. The included wrench works fine for the screws used on the clamps, but a wrench for attaching the mounting plate to the clamps is not included. I found the included hardware to be adequate. In case anyone is wondering, I know I was, and couldn’t find an answer, the clamps are 6” on center. This worked perfectly to mount my rotopax fuel cells on my bed extender, which has bars spaced 6” apart.

Had to drill new holes to mount my tank mount to it. Other than that I think it’ll work.
