I normally don’t write reviews but given the pain it is to install new fuel injectors, I thought it important to warn others before buying these things. I am very disappointed with these. OK, so I should have known better buying something with less than 4 stars that was 1/6 the price of the top end brands, but it’s an older car with a lot of miles and thought they might last a couple of years. First, the packaging was suspect and I should have known then that they were probably not going to be high quality parts. They were in plastic bags that were dirty/oily and then just thrown in a box. However, the bags were not sealed so during shipping 3 out of 4 injectors worked their way out of the the bags so they were left to bang around into each other. Since I had the car apart already, I decided to go ahead and install them anyway. Now the car actually runs worse than it did with the old injectors. I checked all the electrical connectors and they appear fine. It won’t idle and is knocking. I am getting a P-0300 code which can indicate a fuel injector issue–and, since I didn’t change out any other parts, it is fairly obvious these things are not good. I am returning them and ordering a set of Hitachi injectors.
