Great battery monitoring little tricky to set up

Instructions for setting up are unclear. Bought for SOC and cannot get to display anything but 100%. How does this get setup to measure this on LIFEPO batteries with only direct connection to Pos and Neg at battery? Cannot see display in daylight.

I regret to inform you that the device was inadvertently left in its original packaging outdoors for an extended period of three months, resulting in the complete accumulation of water within the packaging. Despite these adverse circumstances, I am pleasantly surprised to report that the device remains fully functional upon its retrieval from the water-filled packaging.

When I first received this product the instructions that come with it show a blue LCD screen I got worried until I actually hooked it up trust me it is a color display the instructions work it’s just the picture in the book is off. I have a robot I built using a Ryobi 18 volt drill battery and I wanted to keep tabs on the battery itself how much power was left it took me a minute to set it up properly cuz there’s no instructions for that kind of lithium it’s not lithium-ion it’s a different type of lithium but after a couple uses the smart gauge figured out the hour amps and say it took about five uses and now the gauge figured it out and it’s a very trustworthy gauge and no longer have to worry about how much time I have left. Great for the beginner and for the advanced user if. If you’re having problems recheck the setup if you have it right it works exactly as described
