It works great and I use it in my car and work truck. I deliver lumber 6 days a week all over Colorado so it a hand holder when it comes to hands free. It never moves around when I am on bumby road. I am considering buying another one just so I don’t have to transfer it from my car to my truck daily. It’s worth the price trust me.

Works well in my jeep, like that it is not a permanent holder and can take it with you. Haven’t used it yet as a selfie stick but Im sure it would work. Holds my phone with case on it too.

The adjustment is good you can basically have the phone nearby to glance at. The problem is when you drive the phone is bouncing all over and I have to keep pushing the mount onto the visor so it doesn’t fall. I don’t know what the fix is for this. The clip is super strong. Maybe needs a shorter arm. I don’t use mine due to this issue.

Super weak- barely held onto the dash and could barely hold my (light and small for a modern model) phone up. The tension springs and plastic wore out extremely quickly.
I drive a Honda civic. Anywhere you place this stupid thing will cause your phone to block a huge chunk of the road.

Bought this to use in a Dodge Challenger while the wife uses my Jeep. I’ve had it in three spots, and it still creates a good sized blind spot, and when fully articulated it bounces around like crazy, making Maps/Waze useless. I finally tried it all folded up, attached to the passenger side visor, and when tucked up against the roof it doesn’t bounce around and tilting it up makes it usable without being a hazard. It is sturdy enough in the main spars, and the articulating joints lock in very sturdily. The weak spot is where it attaches to the clamp – that slide mechanism allows everything to bounce if you are mounting things at an angle.
Overall, I give it 3 Stars but only because the design of the Challengers cockpit is this mounts nemesis. Your mileage WILL vary. It’s a great value for the money, and I would consider this in a smaller vehicle if I had one.

As a Jeep owner, there is no place to attach a suction cup, the cup holders are pretty far down between the seats and if you need a way to keep a cellphone at eye level then THIS is the gizmo! Attach it to the passengerside sun visor at an angle back towards the drivers’ seat and voila, FINALLY a handsfree life in the Jeep! I’ve been thru probably $100 worth of $4.99 phone holder doo-dads from TJMaxx, Bells, Marshalls, Home Goods, Sierra, online, etc- this one gives you the best solid grip on a phone, robust construction, isn’t flopping about as the car moves, and lets you use your AC vents for AC! WORTH it.

I love this thing but mine’s broken after almost two years of use. My fault, I think dropped it or dropped something on it accidentally. Anyone know where to get replacement parts? Or have contact info for the manufacturer?

It works, numerous axis to fine tune placement and adjustment. Easily readjusted if you have to move visor. However putting the phone in it or removing your phone can pinch you. The spring holding the phone is very strong which is a good thing but the learning curve for how to work it is steep as it shifts from holding the phone to pinching your skin.
