Works great for charging your phone if you are not using a case. I can use my GPS with full brightness and it will remain at 100% battery life but gets a little hot.
I am rating this 2 stars because I removed it from my dashboard once and now it will not stick again… I do not recommend this if you need it to stick to anything.

Das ist jetzt endlich mal ein gut funktionierendes Ladegerät in welchem auch ein Smartphone mit Schutzhülle geladen werden kann. Funktioniert mit Galaxy Note 4 und allen möglichen Lumias auch mit Schutzhüllen. Schade das es keine größere Version für ein Lumia 1520 gibt

I was going to return it. My wife likes it. We have the same phone just different cases. She has a slimmer Olbiq case. This will charge wirelessly while mounted with her case on. My case is a little thicker. My phone will charge with the case on when set on the Qi charge on the night stand but it has to be removed from the case to charge wirelessly on when mounted to this car mount. The mount fell while attached to the front windshield and the sun hitting it. However once the suction cup was placed higher where the window tint starts on the windshield it has not fallen again. I have a hard time getting my phone to stay in the mount. My wife has no problem.
Bottom line: Works great for my wife and it is pretty useless for me — she is using it — I am still looking

Works well with my Droid Turbo, and stays attached to my dash better than most other similar mounts I’ve owned. Overall, I’m happy with it, but has one major flaw: on a hot summer day it gets very hot and my phone tends to overheat and quit charging. This isn’t Tylt’s fault, it’s the technology itself (inductive charging). But there it is anyway.

I have had about 4 different Qi car chargers and this one is by FAR the nicest looking and smoothest actions. It is not the fastest charger, I don’t think it is a 2 amp charger, but for wireless charging it does a great job. The material is top notch, nothing feels cheap. The release button is extremely smooth. And to lock your phone in you simply squeeze the tabs on the left and right side. My only complaint/wish is the power connector to the charger is a pole style not micro usb. I like have the micro usb connector in case someone in my truck needs to charge their phone, I simply would unplug my charger and let them use the micro usb as a charger. I did not remove a star because I understand that has nothing to do with the product or how it functions, which is great!

This wireless charger/car mount is awesome! It works great at charging my Samsung Galaxy S3 (with adapter). The gel suction cup that’s included fits tightly to both my dash and windshield. So why four stars? This mount does not come with an a/c vent mount which limits an individual’s choices for mounting in certain cars. Also, I could see where thicker cases would have a problem staying in this car mount (sometimes the case I bought from TYLT causes the phone to pop out because it is rounded in the center on the back of my phone). Otherwise, great charger.

Unit works great and will charge my Samsung Galaxy S8+ through the SUPCASE (otterbox defender like) protective case. The three coil design allows it to pair with the coil in the phone in more positions than many similar chargers with only a single coil. The chin is adjustable and allows you to fit your device into it.
I have mounted it on the Windshield and before that had it on a stick on mount on the dash from another magnetic mount I was trying… it also had a 17mm ball and was able to mount to it as well.
This unit has a premium feel and is well constructed..
There was another review about the power supply being bad and poorly made… more than likely TILT doesn’t manufacture the power cord, it is common for companies to just purchase that from another vendor… I am also sure they would have swapped it out for him if he didn’t tear it apart…
I have not used he USB port in the power adaptor, but assume it would be a standard 1amp output…

Simple Review
Unit is built extremely well and you can tell they took their time with the box. Fit beautifully in my vehicle and was super easy to install, also had everything you need. Issue S6 Edge and tylt disagree on good placement on wireless charger. Likes to disconnect and reconnect which wouldn’t matter to me as much if it didn’t make a large beeping noise every time it does. Which I know the noise comes from the phone but if the charger was moved up or was bigger I wouldn’t have that issue. All in all it’s still a good unit and I’m most likely going to keep it. I really like the look of this charger compared to the Samsung equivalent.
UPDATE:!!!!
Just broke off today while driving on the freeway. A little plastic piece that holds it on the ball hinge and now I’m waiting on Tylt to respond to my email to hopefully return my money so I can buy a different one! I still have problems getting the wireless charging to stay on 24/7. It will be perfect one week and than next week it will cut in and out in and out in and out. Which sucks especially because every time it connects again it lowers the volume of whatever I’m doing so I know it’s working……AAAHHHH!!!! Tylt your product is good looking but pretty crappy!
