This would be the 4th time that we have had this happen to our Durango windows. We foolishly paid the dealership for the first window to be fixed, (almost $500)—the second time it happened and prevented us from going home on a vacation we went to a local mechanic who salvaged the part—($375) and the 3rd time…yes, just ONE DAY PRIOR to the 4th one breaking was a local store that had the part for $40 more than Amazon. By the time the next window broke at some point during the night, we bought this one. Went in very easily, my husband watched a couple of youtube videos and we couldn’t be happier. Our wallet agrees.

The original window regular in my Dodge Durango 2003 failed after slamming the door relatively high, I bought this part looking for good price, I received this part on time and replaced the part myself, it took me about 20 minutes to do it, and it’s been working fine for about 3 weeks now (not that I use it too much though) I did shop around and other places can charge you above 100 bucks.

Amazon site said it would fit my 99 Durango. After receiving the part, the box said for 01-03 dodge Durango. The window bracket did fit but I had to relocate the holes to mount the motor in side the door. Not exactly “plug and play” as I had hoped for. After relocating the holes the regulator worked very well. Hope it last longer than the other brand that failed after a few months. I wish Amazon and the manufacture would be more clear on the product application on the site. Time will tell how well it holds up, for now all is good.

Totally either mis-manufactured or mis-labeled. It does NOT fit a rear driver side 1999 Dodge Durango, The motor is oriented 180° off, mounting screws on motor are off by approximately 1/8″, mounting holes in mounting brackets are off by approximately 1/8″. Other reviews also relate to some of this same problem. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought 3 window regulators with motors, 2 from amazon WHICH WERE THE TYC THE GOOD 1. and 1 from Autoandart, each 1 for a specific door on a Durango. Immediately I seen ALLLL The high rated reviews and wish I bought all 3 from A&A. Unfortunately the 1 from A&A was way cheaper quality after market than the 2 from amazon. Not only that the part itself wasn’t even assembled and ready to install, I had to spend at least an hour to assemble the cheap quality part together b4 instalation. SO YES STAY AWAY from A&A they have a lot of 5 star reviews but still, I’m telling you TYC is great. AND A&A blamed me for recieving a defective / cheap quality part.

I should have listened to the 1 star reviews. I had previously replaced 2 other broken window regulators in my ’03 Durango with slightly more expensive brand part that is available here on Amazon (a third failed window regulator was replaced while the vehicle still had an extended warranty). I listened to the 5 star reviews and ended up needing to replace this again after 23 months. The other regulators that were replaced have been going strong for 4-6 years. The factory regulator in the rear passenger door lasted 10 years. Another of my window regulators is still original (13 years). My very first window regulator failure happened after 6 years. This is not OEM quality. I won’t be buying this part again. I have no idea what their warranty is as it is not published by Amazon. I’ll spend a little more money on a more robust part this time.
