I believe this item to be a tremendous value. I cannot imagine that it could have been any easier to install. In fact, because it comes with both the regulator AND motor means that it was even easier to install than the OEM, which would have required the task of transferring the old motor to the new regulator. All factory mounting locations and screw holes lined up perfectly with this aftermarket product. Being prepared, I had purchased a can of lithium grease to lube the tracks of the regulator and a can of silicone lubricant to lube the window guides. To my surprise, the tracks were already sufficiently lubed and the lithium grease spray wasn’t needed. I was though, able to make use of the silicone spray.

Shipped on time, was exactly what I needed and it works great. No instructions however looked up on you tube.

I have always been skeptic ordering auto parts online but Amazon and their partners have it figured out and I will use them from now on. This part fit perfectly and only took 20 minutes to install and it’s been working great for weeks!!! Thanks guys!

Fits perfect and operates just like the original one. No modification needed to install. This was for my personal vehicle but we have used many TYC products in the shop I work for and have always been impressed with the quality and reliability.

The design differs slightly from the original I took out, but the operation, from the speed of movement down to the sound of the window as it moves, is exact. I would not be surprised if this is like the new OEM replacements but I have no way to compare. Easy to install and works great.
Hopefully it lasts. For the price, so far, it is great!

Works great , relatively easy to install

Installed this in my Silverado a while back, no issues to speak of with fit or function. Install was…as easy as expected I guess, the door panel was more of pain than this was. Sold the truck shortly after, but no issues with it up to that point. Would recommend.

Great price easy installation but motor is loud

I tried this one due to price since my truck seems to go thru one of these every few years. I works great and easy to install, no surprises there. My only complaint was there were some different size bolts on part of it vs the factory one, not a big deal just like for the same size bolts as factory since I had all the necessary tools out to remove it. For less than $40 bucks it’s a no brainer!

2001 Chevy Suburban – window stopped working and I was not happy about the $250 quote I got from my body-shop neighbor. I started looking on-line and found numerous websites that deal directly in window regulators for really good prices (most around $50-80). I was finding factory replacements from dealerships for $150-200 (hence my neighbors quote).
I jumped on amazon, and found this one, same as many of the other websits had to offer, and it came with free shipping! It was here in less than a week (all the way up to Alaska, by jet, then by floatplane to my island). I installed it in the drive-way in less than 30 minutes. Would have been done in half that time had I paid better attention when I removed the first regulator, and had my 2-yr old son not stood there talking my ears off while I worked. Honestly, it’s harder to remove the door panel and replace it, then it is to remove and replace these regulators.
It works as good as new, and am way happy I found this on Amazon! And FREE SHIPPING!
