Bought these to replace the factory lift assist on the trunk of our BMW Z3 Roadster. It was the correct application and arrived next day. The installation was super simple and the trunk lid operates like new. Way cheaper than purchasing from the dealership. No complaints!

Good easy starting place for a novice to work on their car even if they have NO experience. I watched 2 youtube videos on how to install the parts and felt reasonably confident I could handle it and avoid paying a mechanic. Thank goodness it was just as easy as the videos made it look. Parts appear to be manufactured in the higher bracket of ‘low cost replacement auto parts’. The Tuff Support Trunk Struts may not be quite as solid or heavy feeling as the OEM part, but they appear to be working well and fit my BMW without issue. Only time will tell if they last, but I’m optimistic. Can’t beat the price!

They install easily, but the lift is not very strong. The mounting eyelet is nice and sturdy.
