Fadi Manawi –
It works well for my Infiniti G37 convertible trunk, which at first wouldn’t open all the way.

AWESOME!! Just need a flat screwdriver to ease the retaining clip back when removing old parts. Just snap new parts in with zero tools. YouTube has a couple of videos but they are hard to find and make it seem a bit harder than it is. I installed the top end first then the bottom and repeated on the other side. Just look at the retaining clip on the new one to see where to put the flat screwdriver. Then ease the clip on the old ones and pop them off. The packaging also has instructions that aren’t terrible but if this takes you more than 4 minutes, you’re doing something wrong. Lol

Very easy and simple to install, it took me less than 2 minutes to have both of them on. If you have someone holding up the trunk it makes it easier to do, but it’s not necessary by any means.
You can do it yourself, but it’s a bit harder since you have to get the struts in the exact position and that can be difficult to do solo.
It makes the trunk a million times better since it quickly goes up as soon as you lift up the trunk high enough. It requires zero effort to lift up the trunk now, where before it was a pain since it’s heavy to lift because my previous struts didn’t work all the time.
For the price these are amazing and I highly recommend them

Easy to install, perfect fit, does the job!

After a couple of years of weak trunk lid struts which wouldn’t stay up in cold weather, I finally bought these. Installation was easy! Strongly recommend two people – one to hold the deck lid open, one to change the struts. If it takes over five minutes, you’re too slow. You need a small flat screwdriver to remove the clips on the old struts. The pull the old strut off and push the new one in its place – that’s it!. Then do the second strut the same way and you’re done. The difference is AMAZING! The deck lid stays open – to doesn’t fall on my head while I’m reaching into the trunk for my golf clubs. Compare the price with your local Infiniti dealer – this is a bargain!

Does not fit 2009 G37X Coupe. Struts are too long.

Hi, these work great for my 2012 Infinity G37 convert. VERY Easy to install. JUST REMEMBER, DO NOT REMOVE THE CLIPS. Just loosen them enough to allow the end to release (old ones), or engage (new ones).
Keith –
part fit as described

These are so superior to the OEM struts. My wife has struggled with opening the trunk lid even when we had new struts. These are much more robust. The lid will actually stay in place when partially opened. You also get an assist when closing the trunk. I highly recommend these struts.
