Easey peasey to replace … YouTube vids on how could be better. Just use a small flat head screwdriver to smimmy the retainer clip to release the ball joint and do the same just enough on the new ones (do not remove the clip — you’ll never get it back on) to click back onto the ball joint and move the clip back into place. A hood strut clamp (available separately and very inexpensive) makes the job even easier.

They work well. The supports activate the hood and drive it up quickly.. get a little bounce.

Easy install using flathead screwdriver to lift up the collar on the strut, snap it in place, then push the collar back in place.
The job took 5 minutes from opening the hood to closing it again. I used vice grips on the shaft of the old strut to keep the hoid opened while I changed them

Dealership wanted 200$ to replace these for me. You only need a flathead screwdriver to “pop” the old ones off and these snap on easily, no other tools required. Took me maybe 5 minutes.

Took about 5 minutes to figure out how the old struts came off, then 10 minutes to clean the attachment points and install new struts. They work perfectly, just like new.

And if you don’t know how to install it, you can go to AutoZone or any car shop and they will usually do it for you for free. I’m happy with my purchase.
