- YOUR VEHICLE NEEDS THIS – Swapping out old headlights ( H6054 H5054 H6054LL 6014 6052 6053) for LEDs on negative switched vehicles like Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi, or Suzuki, is not a simple job. But with our plug-n-play conversion harness it can be!
- CONVERSION MADE EASY – Save time, money, and headache by utilizing this wiring harness to convert a ground switched headlight system (2 toggled grounds + 1 constant hot) to a positive switched headlight system (2 toggled hots + 1 constant ground).
- NO LOW-QUALITY PARTS HERE – Designed with two durable relays, high-temperature ceramic headlight sockets, and heat-resistant polycarbonate wire loom. This harness is built to last.
- THE WAY IT SHOULD BE – We set out to build a harness that would install with as little effort as possible. The result? A conversion harness that takes only minutes to install and works every time.
- PRESERVE YOUR STOCK COMPONENTS – The beauty of this conversion harness is that you don’t need to cut into your stock wiring harness. This dramatically reduces the install time, and if you need to, even makes the process completely reversible.

The connectors and wiring are good quality, and the wiring diagram was easy to understand. Hooked it up, and worked immediately for converting my 1991 Toyota MR2 to LED lights. Thank you.

I have a 1994 Toyota 4X4 standard cab manual shift pickup and a 1996 4X4 Toyota Tacoma manual shift, and wanted to convert both to LED headlights. The wiring on this kit worked perfectly and corrected the dual ground original wiring so the new lights work. (I only needed the kit on the 94′; the 96′ didn’t require a harness).
However, I made two changes. The wiring kit uses a chassis ground; so you find a ground on the fender somewhere and hope your battery to chassis ground is good. Taking no chances I went ahead and ran the ground from both headlights back to the negative battery terminal. (The kits hot wire is already attached to the positive battery terminal). That should eliminate any chance of a glitchy ground in the future.
The other thing I did was to seal the connectors and the back of the plugs against water intrusion. The kit has totally open connectors (not potted in any way) and water induced corrosion is just a matter of time. I basically laid out the harness, connected everything, made sure it all worked, and then sealed EVERYTHING up. I dissolved 100% silicone caulk in mineral spirits until a little thinner than syrup. Dipped each connector while still connected and dipped the relays. Hang out to dry, and most of the silicone drips off. Now the harness is “potted”; waterproof. After about 48 hrs good to go. Can still be disconnected if necessary.
This kit is just off the shelf parts, but I couldn’t buy the parts separately at the price of this kit, and so I’m not bothered that the components weren’t sealed already. Small price to pay for keeping things affordable. i suspect sealing it all up on their end would have tripled the price.
I have no problem recommending this kit to others.

So far so good. The wires were a bit short, but I made it work. I put some new Alpharex headlights in and they kept blowing my little 10amp headlight fuse causing me to loose my rear tail lights and my DRL’s . Hopefully this will take care of that problem. The wires are pretty thick for the price-14awg. The only other brand I could find that could compare to that was Hella, although Hella does come with 2 fuses rather than just one, like this brand, and it’s about the same price. There are other brands out there that use 12awg ,but their running 179 bucks. This is working just fine. I may change it out to the 2 fuse hella, but for now it’s working. Oh, and the instructions are actually very good, so if your having a hard time finding a YouTube video on installing these don’t worry.

I have a 2005 Chevy Astro cargo van, this installed in it perfectly. It did take about an hour and I had to pull the windshield washer reservoir to get to the ground point by the passenger side headlight. But there are ground points on both the driver side and passenger side, no new ground points have to be drilled. I was also able to connect the hot wire directly to the upfitters circuit on the fuse box, the two red wires going to the front that are bolted to studs. I did use a self-tapping screw to attach one of the relays to the front of the vehicle under the hood. This is a very effective way to convert an Astro van with switched grounds into a modern LED headlight vehicle.
I paired this with a set of “UNI-SHINE 5×7 led headlight 2pcs 7×6 led headlight H6054 H5054” and it worked out of the box. I did not have to repin or use an adapter to connect them, they just went straight into the plugs provided after wiring the harness. Headlights work as expected, daytime running lights come on as before, daylight sensor works as expected, and obviously high beam low beams work great.

This is utterly necessary
I bought LED headlights in housing for my 1996 Tacoma, they were listed as ‘PlugnPlay’ – They do function but not as both high and low beams just a singular setting with the other being off.
This is because the 9004 (my) wiring does not supply a consistent connection to the positive battery terminal – what hibeam light needs in the 9007 replacement. Even though they could be plugged in they were internally wired for a 9007 setup –
This harness makes them function as intended with 10 min of work. Literally easy as can be – I went from being sad over my new lights to feeling ecstatic just with this price and use effective harness.
For the price point I thought it could be cheap quality – nope it is great. I wish the fuse wire for the positive terminal was a bit longer but this is minor – its worth it

Plug & play mod for H4 headlights, it has increased brightness and flash response time by a big margin. It’s a one-time investment to tune up poor headlights. Make sure you place the relays in a good place away from direct heat.

So first off, I read alot of negative reviews on this wire harness and was skeptical to buy it, let me just say I’m glad I did. So the white insulator inside the h4 plugs that people complained about being loose is not a problem, it is how the plug is assembled and once plugged in it has no where to go and is tight and secure, and for people complaining about the wires being too small ? Well mine has 12g wire throughout and 10g wire for the main power and ground, which is way more than enough gerth to run 2 led headlights which is what this harness is designed for. And I’ve also read people complaining about the blue high beam indicator on their dash cluster not working after installing led headlight bulbs? Well mine did work and quit after installing
the led headlights also, the led headlight bulbs do not draw enough amps to trigger the factory relay (this harness made it work again), Last of all everything looks and feels and performs and is high quality on this harness, wires, loom, relays and all plugs are solid 👌 . The only thing I changed is the 2 ends that you ground at each headlight harness, I cut off the c loop connector and crimped/shrink tubed on a o loop connector, not necessary but for me I like the loop connectors better to go on a ground bolt vs. The c loop connector. All in all I rate this kit A+++ and ordering another one for my other toyota for doing led headlight conversion.
