I admit that I was skeptical about the low price / quality of this item. I installed both of them on the drivers side of my Toyota Corolla (2003) and my wife’s 2004 Corolla. At first all was great during the dry summer of 2018.
The bearings were quiet and the car went smoothly down the road…until it rained more in October 2018.
At first it wasn’t much of a noise, but it got louder after a couple of months and heavier rain storms.
By the time May 2019 rolled around I replaced the bearing with a Timken and all was smooth again and still is good. My wifes car was OK until August 2019 when it started to make some noise. At 75 MPH the bearing seems to cause the steering wheel to vibrate, scary for my wife. The noise is now loud enough that I have purchased a new Timken bearing to replace that one too! As a result I don’t recommend this kit unless you use a better quality bearing like a Timken with it, and throw the kit bearing away. Replacing these is not all that easy, but I have done quite a few now.

I took it to the Mechanic and it fitted perfectly. Good quality for a good price!

Fit perfectly on my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Be advised the standard Toyota axle nut socket is a 30mm 12 point deep, the included axle nut needs a 1-1/4 six point deep socket.

I installed these new wheel bearings and hubs on both sides of my Corolla. I have put about 600 miles since the install and it has been quiet and smooth since. My passenger side was the one that was making a lot of noise, but had no play in it. But I figured it was time to change them to see if they would get rid of the noise. Upon installation and driving it, the noise was gone and car was moving fine. We will see how long these will hold up, but for the price you cant beat it.

I have purchased TRQ hubs before for another car and these are the same high quality. However, for the Toyota Matrix / Corolla, the bearings on this hub set do not come loaded. They have to be pressed in with a hydraulic press. This is due to the hubs being in a knuckle housing. For about $25 more per side, I just ended up buying the entire loaded knuckle, with hub and bearing already pressed in. Not worth the time or effort to try to make these work on this car.

Smooth driving before it started making annoying sounds only to find out it was damaged after 300km’s.
