Bought one for all the batteries I need (6). Always charged never hot safe when the powers out been using them for a couple years now. Some of the reviews whining about the wire gauge… its 1 A it doesn’t need 10AWG and I’ve had no issues with trucks, boats, motorcycles.

As other reviews have stated, the cord is a little lightweight compared to some other brands. But the fact that this is strictly a maintenance charger, you don’t need a heavy cord. Works great to keep your vehicle or lawn tractor or motorcycle battery fully charged. I have several brands of maintenance chargers and these function just fine, just like the more expensive ones

Batteries in vehicles, lawn equipment etc that are not used often tend to have a shorter life than ones that are used on a daily basis. These battery tenders/chargers keep your seldom used batts fully charged by monitoring the charge status and trickle electricity into the battery. Todays automobiles have several computers in the electrical systems that constantly run and will drain your batteries’ charge after time if the vehicle isn’t driven often. Car dealers use these on the vehicles in the showroom to keep the batteries from going dead. The price of these chargers is lower than the big name brand but, they work the same. I recommend this 2 pack of Mroinge chargers.
