I purchased these for my Slash 4×4 VXL 3S, they work well. If you drive 3S, you need these. I broke 4 stock axles in a week, after upgrading I have yet to break one after a year or racing. Just make sure you clean and maintain them. Greasing and oiling as needed. Also replacing boots when torn or worn.

DO NOT BUY! All these 1 star reviews are spot on. I purchased and installed these drive shafts disregarding all negative reviews thinking anything is better than the plastic stock ones that come on the 2WD Traxxas Slash. Boy was I wrong. First off I would like to say I do not bash my Traxxas. I “race” with a few friends in a back yard build race track. No crazy big jumps, no rocks, just clay/dirt with minor jumps. Installed these drive shafts and the next day I was on the track. I ran 2 batteries ( 2-Cell 5800 MAH LIPO) on my Traxxas Slash 2WD (Stock Brushed Motor) and just about 10 mins into the 3rd battery my wheel falls off. Upon further review it appears my newly purchased drive shaft has sheared off right where the hex pin is installed. Let the photos speak for themselves. Keep in mind I am running a 12T Titan Brushed motor on a 5800MAH 2-Cell Lipo, and do not bash my RC. Please heed the warning from myself and countless others here. DO NOT BUY!

I got my Traxxas Rustler 4×4 VXL for Christmas, and since I have broken SEVERAL of the stock driveshafts, and so I bought these and have had them for over a month and they have not broken and have proven to be a very durable, high quality product. Just the price is a bit high but I probably could have bought that much worth of stock driveshaft replacements by now, so I’m not going to complain.

These bad boys lasted me about 20 minutes. Completely snapped the lug on a tree stump about about 15 minutes of hardcore bashing. I can’t be angry, nothing is invincible. However, the quality of these drive shafts are amazing. If you are running anything beyond stock in your slash, pick these up to reduce wear and melting.
I just need to learn drive better so I can stop breaking parts.
11/10 would buy again (well I have to, now)

Top quality axles. Have these in all my cars and bought this time to install in buddies. In my opinion best shocks you can buy. Wish the cost was a bit more budget friendly but it is what it is and better then waisting money on the cheap Chinese ones.

I already did a review for the front ones of these so the same review here. The product is not cheap but it is well worth the money since you can buy all replacement parts including the dust boots as part of a rebuild kit which is awesome. If you are thinking about purchasing i would highly recommend that you do so. Oh, and by the way it does hold up under the power of 3S lipo not one ounce of an issue so far. Thanks Again Traxxas for another high quality product for us to enjoy.

Broke a stock heavy-duty driveshaft on my Rustler 4×4 VXL (running a 3s Lipo) within two minutes of running it the first time out of the box. Rather than mess around with the well-known weak stock ones, I ordered these and they have held up very well so far.

Get rid of the cheep plastic! These are solid for the most part. They don’t like the cold though. They’ll snap at the threads
