I’m not sure if this item was previously returned but it came delivered in a plastic bag. No protective measures at all was left on the concrete and somewhere in shipping the gasket was ripped I complained to Amazon and the seller who opted to send out another gasket. I tried installing anyway and my 2nd to 3rd gear problem was replaced by a 1at to 2nd hard shift and a slow leak due to the gasket. I decided to just return it and order something else.

Extremely hard clunk shifts from gear 1 to 2. This thing is awful. I know this is the culprit because I switched to the one from SINS and the problem went away.

I purchased this part because all the others take around 3 months to arrive. But there was one that said it worked for them so I thought I would give it a try and use it until a better product could arrive. However after the mechanic finally got around to putting it on, the problem was worse and the sensor doesn’t work at all, the car went from going into gear until it got hot to not going into gear at all and just my luck by the time I figured it out I was 1 day outside the return window so I wasted my money on a part that is defective and doesn’t work at all. So don’t waste your money on it

Hello everyone,
My rating is based onThis took me about 30 minutes to install tops. Make sure your connections are tight otherwise your vehicle may not shift. I will say this replacement gizmo shifts more aggressively than the stock one did, but what a great feeling not shelling out $400 to Honda for the part. I did use a Honda gasket, but I imagine the one this came with work just fine.
Just six bolts hold the part onto the transmission. You can swap out the parts yourself.

Amazon says, “fits 2003 accord” but it only fits 2005-07 and now I have $86 in USELESS parts that I gotta eat bc you don’t know until the package is opened and you tore your car apart.
